On the advice of another reviewer, I purchased a pair of these springs as a replacement for a broken DR Brush Mower Part # 101621. Please be advised that it's not the same spec as the original spring. It's the right length (5",) but smaller in diameter and the wire gauge is thinner. As installed on the mower, it exerts much less tension than the original spring, allowing the blade drive belt to slip more easily. It'll do in a pinch for light mowing, but a spring of OEM spec would work much better.

I used this spring to replace a lost 5" spring for my DR Field and Brush Mower (Part # 101621) which sells for $14 + Shipping. Works great and now I have a spare in case I lose one again.
