Great for prolonged use in cold environment. Using to gas canisters at once helps keep the pressure up, as it dosn't cool the canisters as much as if you only used a single canister.

This two inlet camping stove adapter is solid, and well made. It feels heavy and sturdy. Unfortunately it isn’t compatible with my Grippi camp stove set, so I’m unable to use it. This is my fault, as it’s my first time using these types of products. It seems like a great idea to be able to use two canisters to increase your cooking time. And a check valve to prevent leaking. Nice quality product for the right cook stove.

This handy tool allows you to combine two fuel canisters together to double what you have to cook with. The tool is solidly built and sturdy. I typically use a stove with a remote canister, so this isn't a big deal for me, but if you use a stove that connects right to the top of the canister, it will have much more stability. Some obvious considerations: First of all, you have to use canisters of the same height if you want the tool to sit flat. With a remote canister connection, it's not a huge deal, but with a stove that normally sits on top of the canister, you'll have to prop up the shorter canister so your stove is level. Second, there aren't check valves, so if you connect a completely full canister on one side and a completely empty canister on the other, given time you will have two half-full canisters. (I took the picture after disconnecting the canisters, since that was my situation, but I later reconnected them both since that equalization process had already started... so much for tossing the old one!) Note that if you only connect one side, it does seal; this only applies if you have two canisters connected.I don't use canisters that often when I'm car camping, usually opting for propane or white gas, but this is a convenient way to connect in two larger canisters and not have to think about it again. I could see it being beneficial if you're backpacking and plan to stick around enough that you're fine with lugging around the extra couple ounces and have more than one canister to burn through. It's simple and it works. Recommended.
