Ich habe mir das Mini SAS (SFF-8643 Host) Kabel gekauft weil mein neues Mini ITX Board auch so einen Anschluß hat. Das ist besser als 4 einzelne Kabel zu nutzen. Die Qualität ist gut, es hilft auch beim Kabelmanagement.

Die beiden Kabel funktionieren einwandfrei mit 8 Festplatten an einem SAS3008 HBA. Die volle Geschwindigkeit wird auf allen Channels erreicht und auch die Verarbeitungsqualität des Kabels und der Steckers ist in Ordnung.Ich habe nur beim Herausziehen eines Steckers aus versehen die Kabelummantelung inklusive des Schrumfschlauches ein wenig nach hinten gezogen und diese lässt sich nun leider nicht mehr zurückschieben, dies ist aber nur optisch und ändert zum nichts an der Funktion. Ich habe dies auch auf meinem Bild markiert.Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann die Kabel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen, man bekommt hier wirklich gute Technik für einen sehr kleinen Preis.

It locks into the RAID adapter and it also has locks on the SATA data connectors.I bought an extra but will buy these again.

Il cavo è ben fatto e i materiali sembrano buoni. Velocità di trasferimento dati stabile e costante. Unica pecca, ma a mio avviso trascurabile, è la rigidità del cavo.

Performing exactly as I expected it to. While I have not benchmarked it in fine detail, I am regularly using the drives attached through this cable to my RAID card, and I get the approximate speeds I expect, and have had no reliability issues. Really wish this was available in all-black (for my build, I ended up using high-temp spray paint in layers, to directly hide the exposed bright-blue wire, and to darken the mesh covering most of the rest of it. Not something anyone would care about for a closed server case, of course, but in a "show-off" rig, it matters. I looked EVERYWHERE for plain black SAS cables, and no one seems to make then in anything but blue or red.

Das Kabel wurde erworben, um eine Backplane mit einem Mainboard zu verbinden. Auf dem Mainboard sind 4 SATA Anschlüsse vorhanden, während auf dem Backplane ein HD Mini SAS-Anschluss vorhanden ist.Bei dieser Konstellation funktioniert das Kabel nicht.
