Wasn't sure if the supplied cables would work with MacBook Pros as they can be pretty picky with the cables they need to output to a monitor, however I've got my work and personal laptops setup with it, and the remote is *super* handy - means my desk is clear and I just tap the remote to switch between work and personal. Great product.

This is perfect product - i use it for MacMiniM4 and my notebook - bbore brand, Huawey, comapny HP and MacBookPro ... ale work.Power delivery - WORK, another USB hub in my monitor - WORK (+ another USB switch for keyboard, mouse and webcam ...)Power delivery work only for active device - but this is OK and understandable - split PD can make mess - then for my is perfect - i only saying this for another customersAll work perfect, for good many - i am very happy with this device - this solve my problem now i don't need unconnect my MacMiniM4pro ;-) - is permanent connectedMy LCD - 43" LG IPS 4k monitor that have lot of input - but only one USB-C (TB3) duisplay port with PD and USB port for HUB ... i use same monitor for 4 device, 3 active - but 2xPD,HDMI i switch on monitor ...

Da die Aussagen hier als auch auf z.B. reddit sehr unterschiedlich sind, was die Funktion anbelangt, will ich meine Erfahrung kurz teilen:Der Switch funktioniert in der Konstellation Apple Studio Display - MacBook 14 Pro M2 Max (privat) / HP Elite Book 860 G) (Windows, beruflich).Das Macbook funktioniert natürlich in vollem Umfang, beim Windoswsrechner gehen Ton und Kamera ebenfalls über den Switch. Bildeinstellungen sind mir bei Windows egal und da habe ich auch nichts probiert.Allerdings funktioniert der Switch ausschließlich mit den beiden mitgelieferten Kabeln, welche aufgrund der geringen Länge von nur einem Meter evtl. zu kurz sein könnten. Bei mir reichen Sie gerade so, dass alles sauber und nicht weiter sichtbar aufgeräumt ist.Sowohl das originale von Apple mitgelieferte Thunderbolt 4 - Kable als auch ein Thunderbolt 3 - Kabel eines anderen Herstellers funktionieren nicht am Switch, dann überträgt er auch kein Signal.Witziger Weise funktionieren bei mir aber USB-Winkelstecker zwischen dem Kabel des Switch und dem MacBook:- https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0BXCTRN7F?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title- https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0CNGJVG1G?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1Die waren für mich allerdings wichtig, da ich mir durch den 180° Winkel ein paar Zentimeter Kabelweg gespart habe und die Länge dann gerade so ausreichend war.

Da ich oft zwischen meinem Windows und Mac Rechner wechseln muss und 3 Bildschirme besitze, musste ein Switch her. Die Verarbeitung ist Top und der Wechsel mittels Fernbedienung auch. Ich hatte bis jetzt keine Aussetzer und kann das Produkt somit empfehlen.

Genau danach hatte ich gesucht, Mac Mini und MacBook Pro ohne ständige Umsteckerei mit dem Studio Display verbinden zu können, funktioniert problemlos! Wie schon andere geschrieben haben geht es aber nur mit den mitgelieferten Kabeln, alle anderen, die ich bisher testen konnte, einschließlich dem Apple Originalkabel vom Mac Mini, funktionieren nicht… und die mitgelieferten Kabel sind ziemlich knapp bemessen.

I bought this device to simplify my work-to-home Mac’s switching, and it works just fine! The setup is as follows:- 1 Samsung display with Type-C video/power port (also has 3 usb ports for peripherals)- MacBook M3 Pro- Mac Mini M4 ProThe length of the included cables is just fine for the desk. I even mounted my switch under the desk to have less stuff on top.

Funktioniert super! Ausgepackt, mit den mitgelieferten Kabeln angeschlossen, und fertig. Ich nutze den Switch, um einen Dell Monitor zwischen einen Mac Mini und einem MacBook zu wechseln. Die Umschaltedauer beträgt 1-2 Sekunden.Vorteil:- Klein, handlich und verschwindet hinter dem Monitor- einfache Bedienung- MacBook lädt auch über den Switch- Fernbedienung ist enthaltenNachteil:- Die mitgelieferten Kabel sind mit einem Meter sehr kurz

I’ve been using the Cable Matters 20Gbps USB4 USB-C Switch, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. It has worked flawlessly, seamlessly switching between my devices without any lag or connectivity issues.For reference, I primarily use this to switch an Apple Studio Display between an M4 Mac Mini, M2 MacBook Pro, and M1 MacBook Air. Of course it only supports two devices so I have it connected permanently to the Mac Mini and swap out the laptop connected based on whether I'm doing something for work or personal.One of the standout features is the included remote, which makes it incredibly convenient. I was able to place the switch out of sight in my setup, and the remote lets me toggle between inputs effortlessly.While the build quality feels a bit lightweight and somewhat cheap, this is a non-issue for me since it stays tucked away. What really matters is how well it functions, and in that department, it exceeds expectations.No issues, no hiccups—just a reliable, easy-to-use switch that does exactly what it promises. Highly recommend!

It works well, but as stated in the manual, it limits the connected displays to either 2x 4k 30hz or one 4k 60hz.Since a mac is limited to one display per thunderbolt connection anyways, this is acceptable, and I really haven't seen a better alternative available anywhere.The only other alternatives for usb c switches max out at 10gbit and doesn't work with thunderbolt (for me)

I got this kvm to switch my dock station between 2 computers, the remote would allow me to complete hid it and it worked for about 2 weeks. After that the remote no longer works, I have tried pairing multiple times as mentioned on the website and still doesnt work. Switch still works great but had to put it visible to be able to manually push the switch buttonUPDATE: After having a troubleshooting conversation with the vendor, they sent me a new kvm and is worjing great, as expected. Updating rating t 5 stars to reflect functionality of the kvm as well after sales support

Me daba un poco de miedo comprarlo después de leer varias reseñas negativas, pero puedo decir que estoy encantada con él. Funciona a la perfección y hace el cambio de un equipo a otro bastante rápido (2 segundos aprox). Lo uso con un Mac mini y un MacBook Pro, ambos conectados a un dock al que tengo conectados el monitor y varios periféricos como teclado, micrófono, webcam, etc. Al cambiar de uno a otro todo funciona correctamente. No he tenido ningún problema hasta ahora.

Die Verbindung über ein Dock zu einem Monitor von zwei Rechnern ist nicht möglich.Setting: MacBook Air über den einen Kanal, Surface über den anderen Kanal.Egal in welcher Steckerkonfiguration der Switch funktioniert nicht.Wenig hilfreich, das es keine wirkliche Anleitung gibt, so dass man erst einmal herausfinden muß, dass der eine USB-C Port am Switch nur für Power In zu sein scheint. Insgesamt ein schlechtes Produkt und die Verarbeitung rechtfertigt den hohen Preis ebenfalls nicht. Wer Lust auf Experimente hat, kann es hiermit versuchen. Wer sich den Ärger mit Rückabwicklung sparen möchte, nimmt lieber einen anderen Switch.
