Ihr Warenkorb ist leerThe C2C caberQU board applies a voltage to all pins of a cable and measures which ones are connected to the other end. It features LEDs for each of the 24 pins and even shield. So in total 25 LEDs offer all possible combinations for USB-C receptacle pin usage in different modes: USB 2.0/1.1 USB Power Delivery USB 3.0/3.1/3.2 Alternate Mode Debug Accessory Mode Audio Adapter Accessory Mode There is an extensive manual included which explains the connectors, modes and necessary pins. The amount of possible USB C cable combinations is endless. If you use the wrong cable, data transmission may be slower than possible or certain devices may not work at all. In the USB C standard, the cable plays an important role and has to advertise itself as such. All of them need to have certain pins connected, some need to be grounded, some need to have resistors attached. Unfortunately there is no easy way to extract whether a certain cable can support a certain use case. If a cable has a broken pin, that makes it even worse, due to their unpredictable behavior. The C2C caberQU cable tester solves this once and for all. By flipping the USB connectors, the opposing LEDs for some pins light up due to them not being mirrored. The product is sold with one CR2032, the PCB and an extensive manual. The USB C cable is not included.

Das Gerät "klingelt" die Leitungen nur statisch auf einen Schlag durch.Es kann also weder eine Vertauschung der Adern noch einen Kurzschluß feststellen,nur eine unterbrochene oder fehlende Leitung.Ungeschickt ist die Lage der Buchse:Kurze Kabel liessen sich besser testen, wenn beide Buchse auf einer Seite liegen.Gut ist, das es für jeden Anschluß einen Lötpunkt gibt. Leider keine Bohrung um eine Kontaktstift zu setzen. Aber jedes Via kostet Geld.Man kann auch sehen ob das Kabel Schirm und GND verbindet, was es nicht tun sollte.Ärgerlich ist das bei diesem Preis (42 Euro) keine Sechskant-Schlüsselchen beiliegen zum Entfernen der Knopfzellen-Sicherungsschraube und Montage des "Gehäuses" beiliegt.Das "Gehäuse" ist nur eine 3D-gedruckte Seifenschale. Leider nur das Unterteil, nicht einmal Gummifüsse. Gäbe es Ausschnitte für die Buchsen könnte man es auf die Oberseite setzen und die Bauteile schützen. Auf der Unterseite sind keine Bauteile...Wo zu das Gehäuse?Gut ist es nur um festzustellen, ob das Kabel die Drahtverbindungen für 240mbps oder 10gbps hat.Immerhin.Entweder baue ich mir einen 10-Euro Ethernet Kabel Tester um oder ich warte noch auf was ordentliches. Für diesen Preis nicht zu empfehlen.Interessanterweise kam das Gerät aus Österreich per Einwurf Einschreiben. Hatte ich bisher nur einmal aus China.Verpackt war es gut. Es lag auch eine richtige gute Gebrauchsanleitung dabei. Mit Bildern und Schaltplan. Aber nur in Englisch.
