Really helped my son better understand fractions — he was really struggling until we started working with this kit. The activity/problem sheets included were really helpful to explore how fractions work.

Received as described in posting. I agree that this set is best suited for the 6- to 12-year-old range; though the simpler concepts could be introduced to younger children and this set would also be great for remedial help and additional hands-on practice for older students. The posting does a great job of describing the contents and what the concepts are that they are intended for, so I won't duplicate their effort here. The write-on/wipe-off reusable activity cards are laminated, very tear-resistant, and should last for MANY years. The set does include the two dry-erase markers that work exactly as they should, and they will be easy to replace if needing to in the future. I've assisted in classrooms for many years, ran a daycare for several years, and raised three kids, and sincerely believe that this is a great set to help master the basic concepts of fractions. Great for homeschooling and as a visual homework aid.

The Magnetic Fraction Tiles are a fun way to introduce children to fractions. I appreciate the variety of pieces and the included dry erase boards, although I believe they can be somewhat limiting as they only allow for specific problems. To expand the learning experience, I gave my daughter a blank sheet, and she used the pieces to create more examples. She’s really starting to understand fractions now. I find this set very beneficial for teaching young children and helping them visualize what fractions look like. Additionally, the different-sized pieces come in various colors, making them easy to separate and store.

Zunächst, die Idee und die Umsetzung des Produkts sind was die magnetischen Bruchrechenteile angeht sehr gut, der Preis mit derzeit 13 Euro wäre fair, wenn- das Arbeitsmaterial übersetzt wäre- das Arbeitsmaterial magnetisch wäre, die beigelegten Aufgabenfolien sind es nichtWarum also mehr als 1 Stern?Die Bruchrechenteile sind wirklich gut, wir haben ein Whiteboard - wir können also trotzdem was damit anfangen und unser Kinder (7) haben ihre Freude damit. Ich würde das Produkt aber nicht zum Kauf empfehlen.

Kann sehr hilfreich sein für Kinder die eher visuell lernen. Schön logisch aufgebaut. Gerne wieder.

I ordered these to use during our fourth grade math units on fractions, and I am so glad that I did. Several of my kids are kinesthetic learners, which means that they need to hold things and move them around in order to fully process information in a permanent way. They LOVE these, because the "pies" all break apart into the appropriate sized fraction pieces, and they help the kids to visualize what the fractions mean. My son even decided that they would make a fun puzzle, so he has been playing with them on our magnetic white board!One thing to note: The fraction pieces (both the round ones and the rectangular ones) are magnetic on the back, so you can stick them onto a magnetic board. However, the small white boards that came with our set were not magnetic, so the pieces won't stick to them. It wasn't a problem for us, but it seemed like an obvious mistake in the entire concept for the set. Other than that, we absolutely love it!

The tiles are nice and the equations are good and accurate. The quality is good and the set is nice. It's in a portable size for easy storage.
