wore these on a mediterranean cruise for 2 weeks, did over 50 miles between walking the length of the ship & daily excursions (think ancient ruins). were VERY comfortable, no problems on rough surfaces

Love Brooks brand & these shoes. I use them on the trails and for dog walking! Great fit. Bottom soles have great gripping support.

The MOST comfortable shoes for old lady bunion feet! I hike several times per week. My only complaint is that they aren’t sturdy. I bought these in November of 2024 and they are breaking down February 2025, developing holes.

Beautiful shoes, sturdy looking. I orderedsize 8.5 wide women's. The WIDE is Not wide at all. It's disappointing that there is no extra wide option; not even in the men's shoe. Losing customer's without having wider sizes as an option.

I like the Cascadia 18, but I don't love it. I did find it to be slightly tight in the toe box, even in a size Wide. I love my Altra true wide toe box, and nobody else makes a shoe that is so comfy for me, but reviewers lately are very unhappy with the quality of Altras. I don't want to spend on shoes that don't hold up. I ordered the Brooks in a half size larger than my usual size, and if the forefoot wasn't tight it wouldn't be necessary. I also don't feel that there is as much cushion as I enjoy, but I've adjusted to that. When I swapped out for a cushier insole, the Brooks wasn't deep enough to accomodate it, so I couldn't make that work. I do like the style and color.
