I bought this to use to dispense small amounts of craft glue onto. It looks a bit decorative for such a purpose, but it was cheaper than a plain glass slab bought through a scientific/medical supplier. As a paper weight it will look good on a desk/table. I have found it easier to use than non-stick paper and the un-used glue just peels off when it has dried. Great for crafters.
