It was time to replace an aging set of front rotors on a factory Brembo calipers/brake system on my car. I replaced the OE rotors with upgraded Brembo drilled/slotted rotors (great quality). Recommendation was to use new brake pads and so I chose these Brembo pads. It arrived in the original box (no outer Amazon box) that was torn and from which contents were ready to fall out. I don't believe any parts were missing though (but not sure if a grease packet was included).After installation, brakes were okay for a bit but almost immediately developed a terrible sharp metallic squeal while braking at very low speeds that I couldn't fix. Yes, parts were appropriately greased etc. I was able to mitigate the problem after replacing them with a good ceramic Akebono set I had lying around -plus these ceramic pads are superb. Probably should have stuck with them in the first place. They don't generate any black carbon brake dust (or any dust at all for that matter) which is another horrible issue with this brembo set. Main noise issue seems to be fixed, at least so far.Unfortunately at this point, I will be sending the brembo pads back.
