Boya has another nice microphone here. I currently have a set of their wireless lavalier microphones as well as well as a Boya Shotgun Mic I use on my Sony A6400 camera. Good overall sound quality, without any noticable coloring of the tone and a mount that can pivot 180°. Great mic for a selfie phone shooter.

This is the third Boya microphone we have used, and it continues the good sound characteristics and rugged build quality that we have observed in other Boya microphones. I am using it while filming with my cell phone, and we use an adapter to connect the 1/8 inch plug to the phone's USB-C input. This allows the microphone to pivot to the angle best suited to pickup sound for the video. This mic is very cost effective, with a price point a fraction that of comparable mics from big-name manufacturers. While the sound quality is very good for this price point, you would have to pay far more to get marginally better sound quality, so I am pleased with this mic and have no complaints.

The microphone I have used with an adapter plugged in to my camera and i have been quite impressed with the quality of the sound and the small size helps make it inconspicuous
