I've got a 20+ year old pair of Burton Custom bindings that have succumbed to both time and a flooded basement. The ankle straps became cracked and weakened to the point where they couldn't/shouldn't be trusted. I got these ratchet side straps to see if they would work to revive these bindings and make them usable again. They do however, there are differences in the quality, materials, etc.The Burton straps are clearly made of higher quality and more durable materials. The original Burton hardware doesn't necessarily perfectly cross over for these straps. They work, but I will seek out different size screws so I can remove the plastic locking cam Burton used on these bindings. The ankle straps do NOT come with the ratchet strap counterpart so your ratchet side will need to match up to this ratcheting device size to ensure proper fitment. I got this ratchet side as well (separately) to ensure a proper fit. I don't believe these will work with the original Burton ratchet side as it's thinner/smaller/narrower.I've attached a number of photos to give an idea of size in comparison, showing that the do in fact fit, but time will tell if they will hold up under the rigors of riding. It's the end of the season here so I won't be able to give them a full, on-mountain test but these were essentially meant for allowing these bindings to be a seldom-used backup to one of the vintage boards I have.
