I love my VNLA “a la mode” skates as-is, and held off as long as I could before purchasing these toe guards. HUGE REGRET! I should’ve purchased these guards as soon as I got my skates, because the light blue boot has dirt on the toes that cannot be removed with even the best suede cleaner. But no big deal. Still love my skates, and now I’m happy they have some level protection, as I’m about to start using jam plugs and practice more “toe work.” Lol…I got the baby blue guards, and even though they don’t match perfectly with my light blue boots, they look like they “go” perfectly with the skates, and look great with all 3 of my most used wheels: white (indoor @ home), bright pink (indoor @ rinks) and light pink (outdoor).And I’m so glad I got this type of toe guard, because I’ve been leery of trying the big toe caps, and didn’t feel like going back and forth finding the perfect fit for this “wide” boot. I’m a big fan of this “strip,” since my boots are bulky enough.The one thing I noticed though is that since my foot is so big (men’s 10 skate), the guard only comes up to my first set of lace holes. In previous reviews, some people are able to lace the guard halfway up the boot, but I was able to find a creative way to use the first two lace holes, and I’m digging it.I’m big on switching things up, so I’ll probably purchase a couple of more colors and new laces and wheels to match.If you’re on the fence, just get a pair. $10 bucks will prevent damage to your skates, and depending on how you style them - they give your skates a customized look. Good value!

The colors are pretty much exactly as the photos online. So bright and cute! In the photos you can see that even after several scuffs from using them on the street, they have held up great! I can probably get that little bit of road dirt off with soap and water. Very easy to install! I'm very happy with these toe guards!

The quality is to die for, but the color is off. I just don't see "bubblegum pink". I was going for a cotton-candy pink theme and these toe-covers just didn't live up to their name, color wise. Since I didn't try them, I cannot speak on the performance.

Picked up roller skating over the pandemic and now I’m obsessed. Got these for my Jackson Vistas (which are not Bont brand obviously so I was worried about compatibility) and they fit great! Toe stop hole is just the right size, the lace holes match up with the first three rows of laces on the skates pretty darn well. They’ve held up to my beginner skater falling and bailing with the knee-pad drag emergency stop and don’t look too much worse for the wear—with a darker color it probably wouldn’t be noticeable at all! If you’re a first time skater like I was when I got these you might want to opt for more of a toe cap style for extra coverage/skate protection until you get more hours on your skates— these are fantastic, but I have managed to scuff up my skates a bit on the sides of these. Now that I’m more stable on my wheels, these do the job just fine. It took a bit of fidgeting with my toe stops to get these lined up right when putting them on the first time but once you get them lined up, they’re stylish and ready to go! If I ever change up my skates color scheme I’ll be ordering these again in a different color.
