I like that it came with a plastic case to keep the edges sharp when not in use. Also, the color coding for each side makes it easy to tell at a glance which scale you're using. I tend to like plastic rules for hand drafting because they're faster in the hand. Shipping was reasonable considering it shipped from England, but for some reason I could not find another metric scale that seemed decent. Just used it for a set of furniture plans I drew for a friend in Chile.

I bought this for the 1:150 scale, which is fine. I just expected a bit more heft, like the old Staedtler scales.It's all right though... I would recommend it to friends. Just don't accidentally forget it in your back pocket, and sit.

I have got this one for my husband without telling him the price as he would have never agreed to it when there are 4-5 pound options available. I am glad I did my own way. My husband cannot stop thanking me every time he uses it.
