I've experimented with this bodycam when jogging around / riding a bike through a forest & this bodycam has held on well with its magnetic mount I purchased for this product.Battery life has been satisfactory to my needs.I'm still trying to get a hang of taking long range photos, but it's a great feature I appreciate.It's got good durability, I intentionally dropped it by accident to demonstrate how sturdy it can be from a tall drop. It was just a minor scuff, nothing to worry about.The IR lights included are good enough for the outdoor surroundings in my local area, I also purchased an infrared flashlight for times I may want to get a clear long range image on the bodycam.The waterproofing has withstood the rough weathers of rain & snow in the valley.

But the lens is very soft and easily scratched

I bought 2 BOBLOV cameras, in January of 2023. I worked in private security and needed a dash camera and a body camera as I drove a roving patrol in an industrial/residential park. The body camera is only used when I make contact with a person so there is no confusion about what is said when I file my Daily Activity Reports. I don't always need to turn the video in, but when there is an issue I can locate the short clips I need to show my employer. The camera will make video clips and will give you the option to set time limits on how long each clip is. I use the 5-minute setting because it is easier to find the segment you need and quickly email it with a report. I work with the body camera in the off position until I think Im going to need a video, then I turn it on to the stand-by position so it is ready when I talk to someone or need to record an incident. The camera takes the best photos no matter what the lighting conditions are. If there is no light the camera goes into infrared mode and takes very clean and clear black-and-white photos and video. My body camera has worked flawlessly for over 2 years now and I use it 5 to 7 days a week. The dash camera when set to dash mode will turn off and on, when starting the truck it turns on and when stopping the truck it turns off. A lighter socket operates the camera, so if you have a lighter socket that turns the power off and on with the switch you will get the same response I do. If you want the camera on all the time, you will need to use a normally on supply, for instance, my truck has two lighter sockets, one is always on and the other turns off and on the turning of the ignition key. My dash camera developed a clarity problem and I contacted support. They said it was repairable and asked me to send it back. Custom support said they would just send me a new one seeing as I was using it nightly. Before I even returned to the old one, the new one arrived within a few days.  I can't say how many times these 2 cameras have come in handy and saved my bacon by capturing important interactions, from fleeing automobiles to getting tag numbers to recording rude and unruly personal contacts. I give the cameras 5 stars for flawless service and super photos. They take both video and single photos, which can be snapped even while recording video. I give the camera mounts 5 stars as well. The body camera magnetic mount is so strong it is hard to remove it from my vest sometimes. The windshield mount works well, I leave it mounted for weeks at a time only removing it to clean the windshield and the suction cup. Keeping the cup clean is very important to ensure a good mounting to the windshield. I can't give customer service enough stars, they were courteous and easy to work with and I spoke to a person and not an AI system to solve my problem.  I strongly recommend these cameras and products if recording is important to your job.

Ich wollte eine Kamera für Wanderungen bei Tag und bei Nacht, einschließlich Aufnahme des Anfahrtweges im Gelände.Diese Aufgaben erfüllt die Bodycam hervorragend, wobei die hohe Aufnahmedauer von mind. 10 h und die Infrarotaufnahmen für mich ausschlaggebend waren. Nachts hat es sich bewährt, neben der "normalen" Taschenlampe auch parallel eine Infrarot-Taschenlampe zu nutzen. Für die Befestigung der Cam sind die zusätzlich zu erwerbenden Magnete sehr zu empfehlen. Damit verteuert sich zwar die Ausrüstung auf knapp 200 EUR, aber andererseits spart man SD-Karte und weiteres Zubehör. Sofern die Frontscheibe des genutzten Autos ausreichend "schräg" ist, ist auch die Befestigung als "DashCam" kein Problem. Lop-Aufnahmen sind mit 5min (bis 20min) Länge möglich und aus rechtlichen Gründen zu empfehlen.Die Bedienung ist kinderleicht und die englischsprachigen Einstellungen für jeden, der einmal bereits eine Kamera eingestellt hat, kein Problem (Bedienungsanleitung ist ebenfalls in Englisch).Bei der Beurteilung der Aufnahmen ist zu beachten, daß sie für den Nahbereich (mit "Fischaugen") gedacht. ist. Sofern die Fischaugen-Optik stört, läßt sich diese mit div. Software am PC beseitigen. Für die Ferne bedarf es weiter einer "richtigen", zusätzlichen Kamera, möglichst mit optischen Zoom.Leider komprimiert die Kamera bei schlechteren Lichtverhältnissen, wie sie im Wald üblich sind, zu stark, so daß die Klötzchen bei größeren Bildschirmen als störend empfunden werden. Anderseits werden die Aufnahmen nur punktuell i.S. von "the best of" verwendet und notfalls als verkleinertes Bild im Bild.Wer "bessere" Aufnahmen möchte, auf IR verzichten kann, wem kurze Akkuzeiten nichts ausmachen und mehr als das doppelte Geld hinzulegen bereit ist, sollte statt dessen eine GoPro Hero erwerben.Ich bin sehr zufrieden, zumal auch ein Regentag kein Problem darstellt.Ergänzung (14.04.2023)a) Jetzt wo es wärmer wird, wird auch der Jackenstoff dünner, an dem die Magnete mit Kamera befestigt werden können. Problem: Zu meinen "schwankenden" Gang, der durchaus Flair hat, kommen nun klappernde Kipp-Bewegungen hinzu. Das Bild (und Geräusch) ist kaum erträglich. Es würde auch nicht durch einen softwareseitigen Bild-Stabilisator beseitigt sein.Abhilfe habe ich mit Gummis um Kamera und dem äußeren Magneten geschaffen. Das Problem ist somit nicht elegant aber immerhin gelöst. An dünnen Hemden oder Polo-Shirts sollte die Kamera somit nicht befestigt werden.b) Mittels IR und dem eingebauten Bewegungsmelder läßt sich auch der Schlafrhytmus aufzeichnen und auswerten. Sieht lustig aus, ein eigenes Schlaflabor! ;-)

I like how it is simple to order things

Als Bodycam hat sie bei mir gut funktioniert. Jedoch als Dashcam im VW Golf,Passat +Opel Corsa+MERCEDES nicht brauchbar da die Frontscheiben zu steil sind. Mit einem Zusatzgelenk wäre es machbar.
