After trying on many Black Diamond women's climbing shoes in various sizes for my typically 6W size feet, these lace-ups were the most comfortable and true to size. The 6.5 was too big. In comparison, the Black Diamond Momentum women's climbing shoes with two Velcro straps ran more than a half size smaller on me. A 6.5 in the Velcro style was very tight. These lace-ups are easier to adjust than the Velcro and seem like they will be better for basic climbing and bouldering.

I had to order way above my normal shoe size but the fit is nice, great quality, and they cup your heel really nicely.

Great starter shoe overall. I’d say they fit as expected because most climbing shoes are bound to be in the smaller side. The only downside for me was that the mesh stretches out pretty fast, so I would advise taking a full or half size down depending on what you can handle.

Rating is for the seller, BD is a great brand. Shoes I received were worn and scuffed. Noticeably used. I get that I will eventually use them but to pay that for worn shoes, boo! Just FYI I got a size 10 and I’m normally an 8 in Nikes, rock climbing shoes usually run small bc they’re supposed to fit super snug.

i like these good quality but i had to return the first pair for sizing issues. I wear a ladies 9 and ordered a 9 1/2 and they were still to small so ordered a 10 1/2.
