Overall, it was easy to use and connect to. It functions well and it connects well with no issues. It is build good and it is a good value for the cost.

I hooked an electronic load to this to see how it handles power. It advertises USB PD, supplying 5V 3A or 9V 2.22A. It can supply these loads, but only for a limited time. I left it running on 9V 2.22A, and in less than 10 minutes it became uncomfortably hot to the touch and shut down. After cooling for a minute, it turned on again but would repeat the shutdown process unless the load was reduced.I tried letting it cool completely, and then running 9V 1.5A, which is what my Chromebook wanted from it for charging, and that made it shut down, too.So what use is a power-supplying USB C Ethernet adapter that can't supply much power? If a laptop can overload it, then not much? I would consider other devices.

I'm looking forward to using this device as a way to charge my phone with my PoE switch which is on a backup power system. This will also charge other devices, like tablets, laptops, and power banks. Since we've got Ethernet to every room, plugged in to a PoE switch, that makes a nice way to distribute power when the mains are down.

Item overheated quickly, so I returned it. Refund was less than expected—3000 deducted with no explanation. Not satisfied.
