I do mostly road cycling, and have numerous bike shorts of a variety of quality and price points, but this is my first pair of undershorts.I typically wear a L in bike shorts, but I followed the sizing chart and got an XL. I should have gone with an L as the XL was not snug enough.I took these shorts on a short 20 mile ride in warm weather. I find the padding stiffer than most bike short padding. I suffered from rubbing in places that should be protected.

These cycling shorts in my opinion are more of a liner or under-layer. I think that you could wear them as shorts but he mesh is very thin and somewhat transparent so that's more of a personal call with regards to your tolerance for public exposure. If you are a very serious cyclist then I think you should look at other options in the market. I'm a casual rider and needed something to wear under pants or shorts for mountain biking or casual but longer adventures. In that regard they work great, and I did use the pockets to hold my small wallet very securely when I went mountain biking and didn't want to risk losing it out of my back pocket. The padding is effective and I didn't' suffer any discomfort from the saddle and it has the right density for moderate use. However, the area of the padding is way too large for the shorts. It felt like I was wearing a diaper and resulted in some bunching up and a weird appearance. It was less noticeable when I added a layer overtop of them but still the padding could be 1/3 smaller and would still provide plenty of protection and comfort but with less impact to the fit. The quality of the materials and assembly is good, but there has been some wear from the cleaning. I use only delicate cycle in the automatic washer and only air dry, but there's a bit of pilling evident on the padding that I would not expect after so little use.

These under shorts are good quality, and fit me fine based on my usual size choice. They're reasonably comfy - but for me the padding feels like it's not quite in the right places - may be more of an anatomy thing!Functionally, the padding has helped on longer rides... so very happy with that. The design's lovely, and the pocket's a great hidden place for phone/ keys/ bike computer - and the colour is good too.Overall, great value, and a nice product.

Getting into biking after a while without the built up calluses these help quite a bit.-They came in well packaged and in perfect shape.-The fit was spot on with his regular shorts for comparison. Note these are more under shorts than outer shorts.-They are not super comfortable to walk in “Like wearing a Diaper” he said. Although once we got on the bikes it made quite a bit of difference. Now it will depend on how you sit and the type of seat you have. As the pressure points change. With the seat that came on the bike these were OK but when combined with a larger “cursing seat” there was a big difference in reducing the pressure points.-They are cooling and moisture wicking much more than regular underwear.-They washed and came through no problem unlike some other bike shorts we have tried.-While the pockets are cute with them being more or less underwear it was a bit pointless for our use.Overall his behind and other tender bits were much less sore after our 8 mile ride with these on.

These are certainly undershorts as described, with the mesh material, so the thigh pocket seems a bit pointless imo, because you cannot access it without undoing your overshorts/baggies!They are made ok, but the gel & foam pad is pretty thick, more so than a quality branded gel short. The pads seem to be more or less in the right place, perhaps not perfect for me, but ok.For £21 (Apr '25) the price is ok-ish, though not hugely great value for unbranded imo, and the legs are pretty short compared to normal, good if you have short overshorts or run hot on the thighs, though the overshorts may then chaffe a bit on the larger area of bare skin. Ideally they would be longer.Fit wise, The size chart is rediculos because it gives the unstrecthed/unworn dimensions of the shorts for the key waist etc measurements, but for the body size they fit it only states height and weight. Utterly useless - it needs to give the body size fitted with waist etc measurements.I guessed at a size large and these fitted me just - so 34-35" waist & about 80kg with a slighly larger than avg rear for a guy and avg thighs for weight. If you are much larger then a Xl would be more comfy, however if you are 36-37 waist but have a small rear then L will possibly ok, providing you thigh are not overly large.
