My old “puffer jacket” was approaching a decade old and had given sterling service on skiing duty and around cold spots in the world. But it was wearing thin - I hadn’t realised but the filling had really flattened down during that time.So onto trusty Amazon to look for a recommended name and stumbled across this Berghaus jacket. Not the blue, not the black (I’ve already got two jackets in black), but the duo colour grey. And very stylish it looks too. The XL is very true to size for a man that always wears XL and stands 6’3” tall, 100kg and 44” chest.Incredibly comfortable at first wearing and won its spurs on a cold trip to and from the pub, that’s walking not via car. Very windproof and warm and noticeably less clammy than my previous Nike jacket of a similar style.Very much recommended and if you’re lucky enough to have a skiing holiday in the very near future this would be the perfect travel jacket. To the airport, to the hotel and then to the pub/bar/restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

Warm light to mid weight Vaskye coat that has def kept me warm throughout the cold of winter (though on minus - days I do prefer a heavier bubble coat).Fits true to size and I can fit a thinner Bergahaus fleece under it for extra warm when needed.I only paid £75.00 for it so was an absolute bargain.

The jacket is nice and reasonably warm but could be improved with drawstrings on the hem . The drawstring on the hood has no locking mechanism so it doesn’t stay tight to your head.
