This is an excellent all rounder travel tripod ... I own a carbon fibre Manfrotto monopod and an aluminium Sony tripod and now this carbon fibre Benro tripod. It’s the best of both I owned before ....super easy to use and compact enough for travel anywhere. Only drawback is the control on the head supplied. Though the single knob to fix and release is easy to think but when using , suddenly the camera is dead loose on release as compared to the more expensive professional tripod heads with dedicated knobs as with the manfrotto 498rc2 that I have from before. Good part is, despite the odd angles , it holds my D90 with heavy 105 mm macro lens absolutely steady even in very odd angles unlike my Sony tripod which won’t hold the camera steady at odd angles and keeping the light weightedness in mind , the head thing doesn’t matter to me and all in all I’d mark it a five star buy 🙂👌🏼👌🏼

I was looking for a lightweight and compact tripod to take with me on hiking trips, but didn't want to pay too much. Looking at some videos of Thomas Heaton on Youtube, this one came up as a suggestion (he has used it for quite a while).Ticking those boxes, I would not have been surprised if some compromises had been made. Stability, for example, usually a weak point for affordable, lightweight tripods. And yes, I wouldn't trust this one with heavy wind of heavy equipment, but I've not found that an issue that I can't live with. In most occasions, with my gear (Olympus OM-D), it performs just fine. I can also live with the limited height, it doesn't quite reach eye-level for me (I'm 1,87 m), but I rarely set tripods that high anyway.With cold days becoming more frequent this time of year, I've found that the legs can be pretty cold. I remedied that by putting some bike-ribbon on one of the legs, but other solutions are available.I can't say to much about durability, I've only had it for a month now, but have no indication that it won't last me for years to come: everything seems to be well put together and the materials are fine.

The mechanism that prevents over extension of the legs is really really weak. As a result one leg came loose and another got stuck during the first day of freezing temperatures. Most likely a tiny bit of water got inside and froze & loosened the little flimsy films that are supposed to keep the legs from over extending. Bad design.The ballhead is only OK, not great. Overall the tripod is usable if you're careful. Would not buy again. It is nice and light to carry around but that's about it for the pros.

Die blaue Farbe verkratzt natürlich auf den Aluminiumteilen.Dann wird das blanke Aluminium sichtbar.Nach einer Weile des Gebrauches vom Stativ, sieht es nicht mehr so schön elegant aus.Aber: Geringes Gewicht, gute Abmessungen und überraschend stabil.Das sind die wichtigen Eigenschaften eines Statives.Deshalb sind alle 5 Sterne gerechtfertigt.Nachtrag:Die Arca-Swiss-Wechselplatte ist mir zu dick an der Kamera. Nachdem ich ca. 15 Minuten den Benro-Stativkopf mit einer Pfeile bearbeitet habe, konnte ich die Novoflex Miniconnect MR Schnellkupplung gegen die Arca-Swiss-Kupplung tauschen. Die gesamte Lösung wiegt mit Kupplung nur 1040g.Für eine zusätzliche Stabilisierung habe ich die beiden Enden eines dünnen Seils miteinander verknotet. Die Länge ist so bemessen, dass es bei aufgestelltem Stativ straff unterhalb der mittleren Beinverriegelungen sitzt. Die Stativfüße drücke ich mit dem Fuß etwas nach außen.Das Stativ ist mit einem Gewicht von ca. 2,3 kg noch nicht überfordert:Canon EOS R6 + EF 300 F4.0 + Adapter R-EF + 2xExtender = 600 mm

This is a very well made tripod and very, very lightweight. With a light weight loading it is very good and sufficiently stable.It is ideal for what I do (using it with an Opticron MM3 50 lightweight spotting scope and fits nicely into the tripod holder on my backpack.A bargain at the price.

Ich habe bereits einige Stative von verschiedenen Herstellern gekauft und ich benutze zwei davon auch regelmäßig. Das TSL08C ist jedoch mein erstes Carbon Stativ. Es ist sehr stabil und ist schnell aufgebaut. Der relativ leichte Kopf hält bis zu 4 kg und ist sehr anwendungsfreundlich. Meine Olympus E-M 1 II ist schnell drauf montiert und mit dem 2 Sekunden- Auslöser gelingen alle Aufnahmen auch ohne Drahtauslöser.Die Mittelsäule kann auch umgekehrt montiert werden, damit sind Aufnahmen in Bodennähe sehr schnell möglich. ( z.B. für die Pilzfotografie)Ein absolut empfehlenswertes Stativ was auch noch preiswert ist, was will man mehr ! Absolute Kaufempfehlung ihr werdet genauso begeistert wie ich sein.update August 2018: nach gut 6 Monaten im Einsatz würde ich dieses kompakte Stativ nochmals kaufen, mein grösseres bleibt jetzt ständig zuhause. Besser geht es für den Preis kaum.

schon beim Auspacken hat sich ein Teil des Fußes selbständig gemacht. Dies war ja noch zu verschmerzen, aber dann ließ sich auch noch Mittelglied nicht mehr ausfahren ...Fazit : völlig unbrauchbar nach ein paar Wochen Gebrauch

Das Stativ ist leicht und gut verarbeitet, nur der Stativkopf lässt zu wünschen übrig, er läuft etwas hakelig und hat keine Panoramafunktion, d.h. keine zweite Feststellschraube, mit der man den Kopf um die eigene Achse drehen kann. Ansonsten hat er auf der Schulter eine kleine Wasserwaage, die bei Panoramaaufnahmen nützlich ist. Insgesamt zu dem Preis zu empfehlen.
