Usage
- Attenuators are used in a wide variety of measurement systems;
- Fixed attenuators in circuits are used to lower voltage, dissipate power, and to improve impedance matching.

Das Dämpfungsglied (kein Regler!) liefert bis 1,5 GHz eine zuverlässige Dämpfung. Höhere Frequenzen kann ich nicht beurteilen.

This attenuator in series with another one was used to measure the first and second harmonics of a Baofang uv5r transceiver on full output. The attenuators were connected between the transceiver output and a spectrum analyser. The attenuators reduced the UV5R output of 8 watts or so down to a much lower level (-50db) that was safe for the spectrum analyser input. The attenuators will be used for testing similar transceivers.
