J'ai acheté le modèle pour freins mécanique à câbles et cela à bien fonctionné sur un vélo tandem de route avec des manettes de freins qui ne permettaient pas d'autre type d'installation. Le capteur s'installe sur la gaine où passe le câble de frein. C'est le mouvement du câble à l'intérieur de la gaine qui déclenche le signal de freinage.

My Bafang mid drive kit came with cheap brake levers with built-in switches. But I have integrated V-brake/Revo-shifters which I love. So adding these cable sensing switches was the perfect solution and they work flawlessly!!! And no magnets to glue on and lose later! BUY THESE !

To me these are essential to any ebike convertion or purchased ebik even with peddle assist, yes it is true with peddle assist stop peddling your motor cuts out but it take a second or two it doesn't cut out immediately. Meaning when your braking gewts resistance from your motor for a second, what does that mean? Well emergancy stop cycling 20mph even so your motor isn't assiting you over 15.5mph its still rotating and when yiou brake its going to push or pull your cycle a little further, might be only 1 ft but that could be the difference before stopping in time or not. Brake sensors cut you motor the second you pull your brake leaving no resistance to your braking and could save you or someone else getting hurt as cycle could stop that little sooner and every inch makes a difference. So yes I feel brake sensors are an essential part for ebikes and fully recommend them. Mike

Die Verbindungsstecker sind männlich, daher sind diese Sensoren nutzlos! Da bei jedem Hauptsteuerkabel die entsprechenden 2 Verbindungsstecker für die Bremsen auch männlich sind, kann man diese jetzt nicht miteinander verbinden. Da ich mit so etwas nicht rechnete, habe ich dieses vorher nicht kontrolliert. Das Produkt ist auf den Fotos korrekt angezeigt, daher kann ich mich nicht beklagen. Nur nutzlos sind diese Sensoren trotzdem für mich. Also, vor dem Kauf aufgepasst und besser vorher kontrollieren! A.

I’ve tried to install it on a yose power kit and doesnt work. I had to adapt it by taking out all the electronica and put a reed sensor. The case was good for this conversion
