This little thermometer is a game changer for bath time. It floats in the water and gives a quick and clear temperature reading in both Fahrenheit and Celsius, so there's no guessing if the water is too hot or too cold. It’s small, easy to use, and makes bath time safer, which is a huge plus. It also looks like a toy, so babies won’t mind it floating around. I think the readings are pretty accurate, and it gives you peace of mind knowing the water is just right. If you have a newborn or a toddler, this is definitely worth having.

This thermometer is well-sealed and floats well. It works within a degree or two compared to another one (I suppose it depends also on how good the reference thermometer is). Easy to set up. The display is large and easy to read. The otter is cute and makes a good bath toy when not needed as a thermometer.

Bisher hatten wir das klassische Badethermometer aus dem Drogeriemarkt, wo man die Temperatur nur so ungefähr ablesen kann. Dieses hier ist um Längen besser. Es sieht nicht nur echt süß aus, die digitale Anzeige zeigt die Temperatur sogar mit einer Nachkommastelle an, ist also sehr genau.Außerdem hat es einen visuellen Alarm, den finde ich besonders praktisch. Wenn das Badewasser zu kalt ist, also unter 30 Grad fällt, blinkt ein kleines Lämpchen blau; ist das Wasser zu heiß (39 Grad sind voreingestellt, lässt sich aber leicht ändern) blinkt das Lämpchen rot.Das große Kind weiß jetzt, dass es nur ins Wasser darf, wenn der Otter nicht rot oder blau blinkt!Man kann das Thermometer theoretisch auch außerhalb vom Wasser benutzen, aber es geht nach 15 Minuten an der Luft (im Wasser wohl nach 40) von alleine aus, dafür mMn also eher nicht geeignet.

This works well and fast gives me the temperature. Reading of my babies bathtub, or the air temperature of the roommates and when I turn it on. It flashes Hulu when it is too cold and red when it is too hot. It works fine and my little ones love the look of it. What I don’t love is that it is encased in hard plastic. For a child’s bathtub anything it should be much softer such as silicone or rubber rather than hard plastic. Otherwise, it works fine.

Very cute design, display is easy to read. It has an LED that flashes if the temp goes out of range, and that's fairly easy to pick up on. I did have one (that broke) that had an auditory alarm that went with hot/cool range alerts, and I do kinda wish this had the auditory feature, but the visual alone is okay.I compared the temp readings to my ThermaPro cooking thermometer, and it was within a degree, so I'm comfortable with that.Time will tell how waterproof it is. Water incursion is what did in my previous one, so fingers crossed.

This worked as it was supposed to. Blue light for too cold, no light , or red light for too hot(102F). I tested in a bowl with an instant read thermometer. It did take about 90 seconds for the bath thermometer to catch up to the instant read when the temp difference started at 70F and placed into water of 90F. So you do need to give time to get an accurate reading.
