This seems to be a pretty nice compact battery spot welder so far.The user interface is pretty simple and with a little trial and error, I was able to make some good test spot welds with some of the included nickel strips. The metal strips will tear before the spot weld comes apart. The welder is pretty controllable and predictable, as well. The overall build quality is good. I can't attest to the longevity of the battery or electronics, since I haven't had this welder long enough, but so far nothing I've seen hints at premature failure in any obvious way. This is a good welder for the home hobbyist and includes everything you need to get started and make some decent battery terminal spot welds.
