Works very well so far and is very easy to install and set up. Paired it with an Amazon outdoor chicken run for night time protection and so far very happy with my purchase.

Das Türchen ist mit Batteriebetrieb ,is relativ leise beim auf und zu gehen ,sofern es auf oder zu geht ,ich weiß nicht liegt es an den Batterien oder die Tür hat einen Fehler ,alles wurde genau eingewogen das es ja gerade trinnen liegt ,aber es funktioniert halt nicht so wie es sollte,es war günstig ausnahmsweise mit Batteriebetrieb,war wahrscheintlich ein Fehlkauf.Ich habe noch vier mit Solar betriebene Türchen mit denen hatte ich noch nie solche Probleme. Ich würde diese Tür nicht mehr kaufen,irgendwie schade drum,aber man muss sich auf so eine Tür verlassen können.

Purchased March 2024. Setup was easy for the coop. Had to adjust the tightness of the screws so that it can open and close without any issues. This morning May 7th. I came out to check on the chickens and noticed the door was still closed. It as set to open at 0615 and close at 2015(8:15pm). When I went to attempt to manually open it didn’t light up! It didn’t do anything.i turned it off, waited a few minutes and turned it back on, nothing. Checked the solar panel, it was fine, no damage or anything obvious. Unplugged the power cord and plugged it back in. All I’m hearing is a beep from the door. Since is passed the return timeframe I guess I’ll need to order another door. Now the chickens will have an unsecured coop. I don’t recommend this product!

The door works great, had it since March. One thing that happened was, I think a raccoon or something pushed on it from the outside, causing the gear to slip because it's geared in the center. I took it apart and bent it back, now it works fine. The 3.3W solar panel included is not enough to keep it charged and reliable. I've lost hens when it didn't have the power to close. I'm about to order a 6W panel and see if that works better. I'll update with that info.

I had to replace the current door I had which I absolutely loved but I could not figure out what was wrong with it or why it stopped working and since it was $250, I couldn’t replace it right now so I found this one for 50 bucks with a coupon and it does the job, but it was definitely smaller than expected and I have done decent sized birds. I had to create this little border around it to cover up the giant gaps that would’ve been left from my previous door which was not planned for the day, but whatever it’s not a huge deal. However, I do really like the fact that it has a remote control so if I wanted to, I can close the door early from inside the house if all my chickens are inside and it got dark out early or it’s raining or it’s exceptionally cold.
