As a shelter manager for Red Cross disaster response, I can't rely on cell phones working. In large shelters, tracking down key people was a problem until I got these walkie-talkies. Four are in constant use (manager, dormitory, feeding, and nurse) with two in reserve, being charged up. I love that they use USB-C cables directly to the unit rather than charging cradles like earlier radios used. The belt clip/holders work well, keeping the radios out of the way until needed. I also love that each one comes with an earpiece, preventing others from overhearing what's up - sometimes things can get a bit hairy in the shelters and we don't want people to know certain things are happening.Audio is clear, battery life is good, use is simple. This is a well-priced set of quality walkie-talkies for equipping a team, family members, hunting buddies, etc. I'm very pleased with them.

I got these first and then discovered another set from this brand that I like so much more. The other comes in 6 colors and has a display to tell you the channel, battery life, etc., and also is supposed to have better range. This one is simpler except for the earpieces. These are okay but not exactly what I was hoping for.

This MaxTalker MT1 walkie-talkie 6-pack set is a great setup for any group of people wanting to keep in touch within line-of-sight radio communication. These are rugged enough for some abuse and sound very clear during transmitting and receiving. The kit comes with an in-ear speaker for each radio making it ideal for communicating in noisy environments. Considering you get 6 radios with this kit, the price is well worth it in my opinion.
