Book is "chock full" of pictures, including many full page reproductions, with each picture accompanied by identifying narrative. Organizationally, it is divided into four primary categories, with which logic you may or may not agree. Luckily, there is an Index from which you can identify the included artists. The quality overall is excellent. (P.S., Book includes many "classics", including Goya, Bosch, Munch and countless others, as well as some contemporary art.)
