As usual amazing quality of paper, big format so that in the end it's cheaper. I cut these sheets and use them for different projects. Excellent.

Ho provato tantissime marche ma il modo in cui l'acqua si comporta sui fogli 100% cotone della Arches non ha eguali. Una carta perfetta e con l'acquerello non si può fare economia in tal senso. Un must!

Please note this is an Arches pad (glued on one side), not a block (glued on four sides), the title can be a bit misleading. Pads are a lot less expensive than blocks but have the same high quality paper so if you've never tried Arches before pads are a good way to try.I have tried MANY different watercolour papers over the years but Arches are the best by far (IMO), I still use other brand papers for different techniques, watercolour studies/sketches and work where I am experimenting, purely because of the price but when I have done a lot of preliminary work and am ready to take the plunge, hoping to create something special, I will usually opt for a high quality 100% cotton paper and you can't get better than Arches.If you use masking fluid or tape in your watercolour painting, this paper will save you from the nightmare of spending hours on a piece only to ruin it when removing the tape/fluid, personally I have never damaged the paper with tape or fluid (and I use them a lot).If you use the 'wet in wet' technique or if you use a lot of glazing in your work you will not be disappointed with this paper, of course the quality of the paint you use will also contribute greatly to the results you get so it goes without saying you should only use Artists quality watercolour paints when using premium cotton paper.I would highly recommend this paper, the price can be a little prohibitive when buying the blocks but these pads are great value for the quality of paper you are getting.Word of warning; once you try it, nothing else will compare.Photo attached of one of my paintings on Arches paper

Viele sagen "Archepapier" = wie Miele, der Renner unter dem Aquarellpapier. Ich hatte zu "kämpfen", Hahnemühle Papier nimmt die Feuchtigkeit nicht so auf wie Arche.

Ich werd nie wieder etwas anderes kaufen, bin begeistert wie sehr die Farben zur Geltung kommen, so macht Malen doppelt so viel Spaß.

Nachdem ich nur Hahnemühle kannte, wollte ich mal Papier aus 100% Cotton. Und es tatsächlich malerisch ein riesen Unterschied. Qualitativ hochwertiges Papier. Natürlich hat das seinen Preis, aber das ist es wert!
