It does what it says. How accurate it is… I dunno. I held it side by side with a kestrel 3000 and this thing read about 15mph higher during a gust. It read 77mph the other day (I live in a VERY windy area in the mountains… near Mt St Helens) but it didn’t quite feel that strong. I’ve only seen my kestrel get to 68mph, and this didn’t SEEM that strong. Makes me wonder. Need to hold them out the window while driving and see what they say…😂

Works well for 2+ years now, no problems. It's rather compact. I used it in caves, on hikes, inside my car to check air vent flow, and as a Skywarn Storm Spotter to measure wind speeds. The tripod-mount hole is very useful.

The display worked OK, but the turbine stuck and turned very slow or not at all. We will see if the replacement works. Had to bend the contact up to make good contact with the flat lipo battery, Hard to load the battery.Replacement works fine. The new unit was wrapped in a sealed heavy plastic bag. Defective unit had no protective bag. Maybe it was a retured product.

Leider nur ein Spielzeug, dass kleine Windrädchen lässt keine genaue Messung zu. Wahrscheinlich zu träge noch dazu Schleifgeräuche am Windrad also kein leichter Lauf. Habe einen anderen größeren Windmesser der sehr sehr viel empfindlicher arbeitet. Während der grosse Windmesser schon bei der kleinsten Brise Werte anzeigt rührt sich bei diesem hier nichts. VIEL zu kleines Windrad und Öffnung. Die anderen Werte ( Temperatur/Luftfeuchtigkeit waren im Vergleich zum großen Windmesser identisch. Sebst wenn beide Windmesser gemessen haben, waren die Abweichung enorm, sehr sehr ungenau. Keine wirkliche Kaufempfehlung

Simple. Straightforward. Clearly presents the info I wanted to get wind readings from my porch. It's a fave. One caveat re "easy to use" was difficulty seating the battery. Sent the first one back because three people tried to seat the battery, and none of us could figure it out. Thought something must have broken. When replacement had same problem, I kept at it until I finally worked it out. You actually have to pull the clip back toward you, insert the battery, then push the clip back into place. Simple enough, but goes against all my experience (and that of my friends).

Works very well, and has a higher max speed than most others!Was able to test and get pretty accurate readings.It seems like it might be a bit fragile, time will tell.So far no problems with reliability.would be nice if it was back lit.
