This was a replacement for a different cheaper brand I purchased previously that had a screen that was going out. This system was easy for me to install because I had the same type of stereo previously, so my installation was quick and simple. Here are my Pros and Cons:Pros:1. Installation:I installed the unit in my 2013 Chevy Silverado. Naturally you do need a dash kit and there are dozens available in all different price ranges. I ending up buying a Metra 95-3305 and it fits perfectly. To retain the truck's factory features like the door chime, turn signal sounds etc, I bought a Axxess AXDI-GLMLN29. I do streaming almost all the time, so I don't care about listening to the radio. But if you do, be advised you do need an antenna adapter because the stock GM antenna lead doesn't fit into this unit's antenna port. The adapters are cheap though.Functionality:As for the head unit itself, I love it and don't have any major issues so far. Others have reported bluetooth functionality inconsistencies, but its been fine for me. The first couple times it acted like hadn't already done the initial connect and I thought "oh geez, here we go", but thereafter it's been connecting automatically just fine. The Android Auto feature works great; just like factory OEM in rental cars I have had. Going from my 2013 GM'S lame, "held over from the 1990s" technology to the modern tech we're all used to is a thrill. The only thing I have noticed is that the screen display seems to dim on it's own. Not to the point of it being too dark, but enough to notice it isn't where I set it. There may yet be a setting I missed, I don't know.Audio: I'm no audiophile by any means, and at first I was real disappointed with the audio. But after tweaking the EQ, it is just fine. My truck has Sirius-XM satellite radio and I lose that functionality by replacing the factory radio. There may be a way to retain that, I don't know. I just stream from the phone app for those times I want to hear XM.Update: Two weeks after installation.The unit was operating fine for the first week. When walking through the system settings, I made the mistake of activating the touch screen calibration setting. This brought up a black screen with a red circle in the center. No other buttons or icons were visible, so no way to cleanly exit the screen. So I touched the upper right corner where the "return to previous screen" icon would normally be and the red dot moved there. I touched the upper left where the home icon would normally be and the red dot moved there. Same thing with lower left and right corners. Eventually, a screen came up with three buttons and one of them actually got me out of that screen but now none of the icons/buttons respond. The touch areas are completely skewed and either don't respond, or bring up something completely different than what is labeled. I cannot get to the system settings at all so I cannot try a system reset. There is a reset button but it seems to do nothing but reboot the system.I have emailed support but I'm not optimistic about their responsiveness or ability to help. We'll see.Update 2:Lucked out last night and got the touch screen recalibrated somehow so I'm back in business.Got reply from support today telling me how to fix it. They told me to put all five fingers on the screen which will bring up the touch screen calibration function. Then touch each dot as they light up around the screen. Now, ya see... if your owners manual had told me that in the first place it wouldn't have taken me a week to figure it out myself. I do commend the support people for getting back to me. I honestly didn't think anyone would.Update 3:I discovered something disappointing today. When traveling with my 5 year old, I always turn on my phone's hotspot so her tablet can connect and she can watch cartoons. This will also disable the wifi - I think its a Verizon rule or something. Anyway, without that wifi the head unit WILL NOT communicate with the phone. At all. The steering wheel controls don't function either. Bluetooth status shows it is connected to the car just fine. I hit the Android Auto button, and the screen goes black and there it sits. I don't use the head unit's wifi functionality at all so why does it care? It's connected via bluetooth. My phone has no headphone jack to connect by wire either. Swell.

USE CASE: Old truck, was playing audio from my Android phone, looking at directions on it, etc. I wanted an upgrade. Saw a YouTube video to put a double din dash into 99-2006 GMC / Chevy truck using a Metra dash and wiring harness. I went for it. I put a before/after so you can see the difference it made for me (I had already pulled the dash off before the first picture.PROS:Sound Quality - I was barely getting sound out of 2/4 door speakers with original radio. After replacement, I get easily double the sound from the factory speakers.Installation - Although the instructions that came with the dash were subpar, the video on YT was amazing. I had no issues, size was what it was supposed to do. First time I pushed it in the dash and turned the truck on, it started right up.Included hardware - The dash itself is awesome. responsive touchscreen with no complaints on resolution. You will have to turn down the brightness at night if your time settings are not correct (it auto corrects when time is set). My initial thought was that the volume buttons on bottom should be a wheel instead of buttons. However, for longevity's sake, I'm glad they did buttons. Wheels always seem to break for me, so buttons should be good. Microphone is able to be hidden around dash and sideboards and I've had nothing but praise from sound from it. GPS shows speed accurately from my dash but honestly, I don't use it much because I'm on Android Auto mostly. I have not installed the rear camera for time's sake, and I really don't care to use it. Installation-wise, it would be the most daunting piece from everything I've seen.Software - Awesome. Hands down. Connected Android Auto easily. I will say that about 10% of the time I turn the truck on, it does not auto connect to the phone. I just have to turn the dash off and back on and it works. Again, at this price point, it is not a bad convenience at all. The factory settings have an EXTREMELY annoying beep on button presses (one of the other review videos shows it). The first settings I changed were to turn those off. The buttons on the bottom front have configurable led lighting so you can change them to whatever you want. The color wasn't great for reds hues but blue/purple look great.TLDR - Easy installation, feature-rich software, you will not regret taking this dash over other double dashes on the market. I was looking at paying an extra $200-300 for name brand stuff that was 5-8 years old. This thing works, turn off the beep in settings! Take a shot.
