These pads are better than what I get at work. In addition to the heavy weight of the paper, the cardboard back is thicker than most, making it easier to write on.Highly recommended.

Some reviews say this paper was better in the past for fountain pens. But it is still very good compared to legal pads from Staples.

Very good paper if you write with a ballpoint pen. However, it bleeds badly if you write with a fountain pen or gel-tip. It's also Letter Size, so not a standard file size (A4) in Australia. As a legal pad, one would think that it would be manufactured to be written on by lawyers, many of whom use a fountain pen.
