Well, I’ve been buying these about every six months for the last fifty years so I must be pretty satisfied. The first day of class my physics professor told us all to buy this specific notebook, and put everything in it. I did and still do. Works for me.

I have purchases many of these over the past few years. Perfect for note taking at work. Especially good for engineers or people who prefer to organize their notes in square quadrants, which I love. Pages are numbered. Spiral binding is sturdy, as is the covers. Highly recommended.

I have been using these Ampad Computation Notebooks for the last several years as an all-purpose notebook - meeting notes, to-do lists, recording ideas, etc. Basically using it as a bullet journal. The paper quality is excellent, it has sturdy covers, pages are numbered (which makes it easy to index the contents), and being wire-bound it opens flat. As others have noted, this was essentially a perfect combination of features.For several months, this product was substituted for a laughably poor version with flimsy covers, blindingly white paper, and poor assembly. For those of us who have become dependent on these notebooks, this was a real blow. I even wrote the company and complained. They were nice enough to send me one of the old style notebooks from some secret stash, and noted that they were working through production hiccups.When it came time to get a new notebook, I took a chance and ordered one here on Amazon. I'm pleased to report that this product is basically back to normal - the only differences are that it is now made in Malaysia (not the USA), and the cover is a somewhat off-putting shade of red, rather than the more dignified brown color shown in the description. I'm used to it now, and mainly just happy to have a steady supply available again.

In my first semester in my robotics program, my lab books were still in the mail. My instructor had some that he was selling for $20, so I bought one, and it was this book. I really like how thick the pages are, they don't bleed, although I have a few pens that will bleed through them occasionally. They're a good size and the grid layout is quite handy for keeping my lab book clean.The first book was a yellowish paper with blue lines, and I really liked those colors. But ever since then, the ones that I have personally ordered have white pages with the blue lines. I certainly don't prefer it to the yellowish, but it works just fine. The pages feel the same to me, just in a different color. The ones that I have ordered however have had a cheaper cover. I have a few that have the corners just falling apart from being in my bag, where the first one looks pristine.This is still my favorite book to buy for lab books. They're not too cheap, but compared to other ones that I have used, per page they're still cheaper, and I think that they have the best pages. I wish they'd go back to the old color, but it isn't a huge deal breaker for me. But I really do wish that they would have a more durable cover on them.
