Warnhinweise

This butterfly cover fits my Pier One butterfly chair, which I've had for a long time. The bright blue is very attractive, and the fabric is strong and well sewn. I'm pleased with this purchase.

Amazon will das erstatten.

Man kann diesen Ersatzbezug schon auf den original Butterfly Stuhl montieren, nur reisst der Stoff nach 2 Wochen weil es nicht dafür gemacht wurde. Der Schnitt ist zu eng.

3 vintage butterfly frames (non-folding) made of a single tube of steel recently came into my possession. I looked at Circa50, D&J Patio and then these Algoma covers as replacement options. Circa50 was the most expensive. My frames were a size D, the largest and most expensive covers based on frame size in the outdoor vinyl material, $65 plus $7 shipping, $72 total for EACH cover. Hefty. No free shipping here after a certain purchase amount.D&J were marginally cheaper. Although I wanted to keep these chairs indoors, I wanted to invest in outdoor quality covers. For D&J Patio's "Space Weave" covers, they came out to be $49 a pop. Plus shipping and taxes to my area for 3 covers, the math came out to about $57 a pop. Still pricy.I requested samples from Circa50 weeks ago. Never heard from them and I've also heard that D&J is slow to ship and their website isn't completely accurate as to what is in stock (so I've heard)... Their website also looks like it was built in 1997 and never changed. I didn't have much faith in neither to deliver. The only reason I looked at these other options was because I wanted WHITE covers. Not tan, beige, cream, "natural" or off-white, but a crisp, clean white. I soon learned from a blog that D&J's white covers clearly have a tan banding around the edges. Boo. 👎 Crossed them off my list.Algoma doesn't have white, only "natural" so I opted for black, my next choice. To be honest, the fit isn't the best. But they fit, which is a very good thing for these frames that are 31-33" at the top widest points to 29" across the bottom. Reference the Circa50 diagrams on their site for where I measured if there's confusion on that. My frames are basically Size D. I hope my photos help somewhat. The top fits fine but the bottom is quite taut. I hope with time the fabric will stretch and relax a bit. They're comfortable and feel hammock-y. I'm pleased with the quality stitching and the fact that they're being produced in the USA. Only time will tell if these will really hold up but at $21 with Prime shipping, I can't really complain. I only bought one to test as I got the frames with their beat up faux white leather covers from the previous owner. But once the other covers are really out of commission, I plan to buy another two in black very very soon.I hope Algoma never stops making these!P.S., if you're having trouble putting these covers on your frames, start with one of the top pockets first, then the other... Followed by one of the bottoms and stretch to fit the last one. I'm also pretty sure the size of my frames are the maximum size these will fit on. Because 29" across the bottom was a slight stretch but it all took but a minute or two to make it work. 🙂Edit: I also know from other reviews these will likely fade in the sun... No problem for me since I plan to keep them indoor-only. If you really want them to last outdoors... Then it's likely best to invest in the Circa50 covers. There was also another review saying they thought these covers were "cheap cheap cheap," but I say they're economical. Look at the price ($21). Also Target no longer sells whatever covers they were talking about. To me these feel durable and good value for the price. I know Target or one of its brands recently released a wooden folding chair but even the reviews for that and the cover it came with was not good (and they don't offer replacement covers). I'll edit my review as time goes on and hopefully I remember to once some time has passed. Also please pay no mind to the lint on the black cover... It was from a pill-y sweater.
