Es funktioniert zwar, aber die Reaktion auf dem externen Bildschirm ist extrem verzögert, und insgesamt raubt das Teil extrem viel Leistung. Ich kann kaum was machen am Laptop, weil alles hakt, zu viel Energie wird für das Teil verbraucht...

This adapter works as expected to add a monitor to a computer that lacks or is out of HDMI ports. If you plug it into a USB 3.0 (blue usually) port, you can get 1080p at 60hz. You shouldn't need to install a drive as one should load when you attach it to a Windows system. It doesn't work in Linux, and I don't have a Mac to test it with. All my comments below apply to a Windows computer.This adapter works well to add a second or third monitor to an existing computer setup. It is more problematic to add as the only monitor to a computer.Since it requires a device driver in the Windows to run, you can't use it to install a new Windows system as it won't receive a video signal outside of the OS. You have to be able to run your computer at least once with this adapter attached to load the Windows drivers, then you can see the screen in subsequent loads, at least at the point where Windows login occurs. Luckily device drivers are loaded before the login screen, so you will see that screen.This inability to be used before Windows loads also means you won't be able to use it to view the motherboard/system bios or any other pre-OS screens. Thus you won't see the system POST messages or anything before the login screen shows up.This is why this adapter is best suited for use with a secondary monitor. For that it works well. It is somewhat higher priced than other solutions, but it does work.

I lead a singles group at my church. Often I need to present from my computer to a group at another person's house. This easily hooks up to my computer and an HDMI to the TV. No extra drivers needed, just hook up and go. Use it a lot and has not failed me.

Im really pleased with this USB to HDMI adapter. I am using it to add an another external monitor to my home desktop setup. It was very quick to setup. The driver came on a CD and was easy to install. This could easily be downloaded from the manufacture web site too if needed. I plugged it into an open USB 3 port on my pc. After a reboot my monitor was detected successfully. Im running my monitor at 1920x1080 resolution without any issues at all. The picture is clear and solid with no flickering and there is no noticeable lag. This adapter also supports audio over HDMI. Sound plays from my monitor speakers from this adapter. I have not had any connection issues, I have been using this for a while and it has been stable. In addition to performing well and being easy to setup, this adapter is well constructed. The case is metal instead of plastic. And you can pick the color! I got the blue one. I realize the color does not affect its function but it still made me happy :-) Both the USB cord and HDMI connector on the adaptor fit well. The usb cable is thick and reinforced.If you are looking for an affordable, well performing and durable USB to HDMI adapter I recommend this one. And you if it matters to you, you can pick the color which is not something I have seen with other adapters of this type.

First off, let me caveat that by saying that from the point of someone who is used to building PCs and working with desktops, this thing is weird. USB 3.0 over USB-A external graphics card? Weird. Bordering on crazy. And yet it works. It's very strange to have a monitor that doesn't perform the same as your other monitors, too. It's weird having 3d windows not render because hey, it's an external graphics card over a 3d monitor. Also some games crash hilariously if you try and move their window over. But for monitoring stuff - a Discord window, a browser window - a great way of extending the functionality of your desktop without taking up precious, precious displayport ports on your graphics card.

I would like to like this product but I have not been able to get this adapter to work. I have tried installing and uninstalling/reinstalling drivers multiple times. I have tried multiple computers and multiple USB ports, but to no avail. The product feels like a quality product, but I can't recommend due to the fact that I have not been able to get it to work even once.
