Ansonsten schnelle Lieferung, gute Funktion !

I needed to be able to switch my house's electrical installation between grid and battery backup, and I didn't have a lot of room in the distribution box (up to max. 110mm on the DIN rail). I found only two 40A 4-pole transfer switches that fit and this is one of them (the other-one being from Sontheimer). They are both 96mm wide; most other similarly-specced switches are much wider. The ABB switch is more expensive but has better build quality. It is more expensive as-is, and then you have to buy a 13 euro knob on top. It also doesn't come with wire bridges (shunts), so you also have to buy or make those as well. But overall I prefer the ABB switch over the Sontheimer equivalent because:- the screws for fastening the wires are better: I damaged the Sontheimer-ones very easily and when removing the Sontheimer switch I actually had to cut a wire because I could no longer unscrew it.- the regulatory information (such as the CE mark, the switch's voltage and current rating etc.) is displayed on the front of the switch, such that it remains visible after installation. In the Sontheimer case this information is provided on a label which is stuck to the side of the switch, where it is no longer visible after installation.I see other reviewers complaining about the force needed to actuate the ABB switch, and I confirm that it is indeed hard. But I wonder whether those other reviewers purchased the requisite knob, since the one that comes with the switch is not intended to be used as a knob (but merely as an indicator of the switch's position). Yes, it's deplorable that the switch doesn't come with a usable knob, but that's because it can also be used with a shaft that leads to a knob on the outside of the enclosure. Finally, for my use case, when switching off I need the neutral to be severed last, and when switching on the neutral is to be connected first (in order to make sure that the voltages between phases and the star point remain balanced at all times). Frankly I would trust neither switch to ensure that this is the case. The specs for the ABB switch say that all four connections are made/broken simultaneously, which in practice means that there are no guarantees on the order. If the neutral is disconnected first when switching off, then the voltages seen by the loads briefly become unbalanced and equipment may be damaged. So I always turn the main circuit breaker off before actuating the switch. Had there been a guarantee on the switching order I would have given a 5-star rating.
