2. Sie müssen sich keine Sorgen machen, dass Sie den vorderen Kofferraum des Tesla Model 3 nicht schließen können, weil Sie etwas in der Hand haben.
3. Sie müssen sich keine Sorgen machen, dass Ihre Hände schmutzig werden.
4. Setzen Sie sich an regnerischen oder verschneiten Tagen einfach 90 Sekunden lang ins Auto und warten Sie, bis sich der vordere Kofferraum des Tesla Model 3 automatisch schließt.

This should be built in and not a 3rd party addition but since it is, here we are and this does the job very nicely indeed. Makes using the frunk way more convenient.I would recommend watching some youtube videos for sure but it's pretty easy to install.

Installed fairly easily, but their instructions and videos leave a few things out or don't make them clear. You MUST push the metal tab in on the brass plate to lock it in place. Then, the manual doesn't actually show you howto install the motor after doing this. Simply line it up with the original car latch holes, on top of the original car latch. Then hook the black ring on their cable over the post that the top of the spring is on, THEN put the spring back in.Finally, after installing, I had to either drop my hood a couple of feet, or press down on it to get the closer to actuate. Also, the 90 second auto reclose didn't work. After some back and forth and trial and error, I found the original latch was too high, even though the hood was flush with the car. Moving the car's latch down a few millimeters, and moving their latch up allowed the weight of the hood alone to press their actuator lever itself, and everything works perfectly now. This should be an OEM standard!

Small plastic piece came in the box. It's not listed in the manuals parts list. See pictures, does any no where this part goes? Installed fine and operates fine. Took about an hour, viewed their videos and other YouTube videos and they never show this part being used.Deducted one star bc manual and video is barely usable. And well the unidentified part being included.

Installation is simple with instructions provided (with detailed pictures) and there are few Youtube videos for it as well. Works like a charm and makes closing the frunk so convenient. Took me about 20 min to install and most of that time was spent aligning the closed hood so that it sat flush with the car.

I tried three or four other soft close frunk kits. Every one had promise, until everything was put back together. Several of them would not fit around the frunk latch and one (which was my fault, I didn't see that it was for the Highland Model 3) didn't allow the tub to be reinstalled. This kit lined up perfectly and does exactly what I wanted it to do. The only thing was the installation of the motor. It ended up installing ok, but the location and orientation were not very well explained in the video or instructions. I played around with it for a bit and ended up with an installation I am pretty happy with. I wish it could be an all-in-one installation, but it still works. I drop the frunk; it sits at the open point, and then it closes itself. Opening it back up works fine to, no interference with the stock opening function. Hopefully it lasts, but I wouldn't say that there is anything that makes me think that it won't. You might have to play with the installation height to get it perfect, but you can do that with a 10mm and popping off the frunk latch/light cover.Overall, I am very pleased with the product. It works as intended, fits great and the parts look like they should last. 2022 M3P
