These are great, really made a secure jobI found the correct drill bit size by matching it to the diameter of the plug, then set the depth with a piece of tape on the drill bit.After drilling the holes I then vacuumed them out and stabilised them with a little very slightly diluted pva glue.After letting it dry for a couple of hours I then used a small amount of 2 part resin glue to completely fix the plugs into position I fully seated them with a small hammer then left them to set for several hours. Before fitting I also put each plug into a vice and put the screws in to pre-cut the thread which makes it easier to get the screws in while you are struggling with the door. Then re-hung the door.Spend a little time getting it completely right first time, then it will last for the duration.

I have a cabinet door with BLUM Euro hinges. The hinge would no longer stay in place. I bought these and the appropriate screws to insert into the mounting holes. I had to dril the 8mm holes a bit deeper and then had to slice off a bit of the dowel that was sticking up too high, but once this was done, the doors operate as they should.Good product but really didn't need all 25.

I ordered these to install the hinges in my cabinet doors that came pre-drilled with holes. The hinges did not come with these so I ordered these to tap into the holes and they fit and work perfectly. They are a good quality and true to size. Definitely recommended.

Original Ersatzteile für Blum-Scharniere zum Top-Preis. Musste bei meiner Wohnwand zwei Türen neu montieren. Beim Hersteller hab ich erst gar nicht angefragt.Hinweis: Da es kaum 8,5er Holzbohrer gibt, hab ich mit 8mm vorgebohrt und mit einem 8,5 Metallbohrer aufgeweitet.

I'm fixing up an old set of cabinets with some new IKEA doors. The doors come with larger predrilled holes to use IKEA's snap-in hinges, but I didn't want to deal with the hassle of installing (or buying) that many, and wanted to reuse my existing ones. These dowels allow the use of standard hinge bolts/screws.They are a bit big and you have to really hit them with a hammer to get them in, and if you don't do that perfectly straight, it cracks the material around the door a bit, but that damage seems only cosmetic (the hinges are totally secure).
