These cases are great for home run balls. They are easy to put together. When you open the box initially, it seems that the sides are frosted and not clear. There is a film on both sides that you have to peel off. It's not hard to peel off but it takes time as you really have to work the corner to begin the peel process. After you begin peeling, it's so easy, it just takes time to find the film to begin peeling.

I was REALLY REALLY nervous about buying this because of the reviews that said the case was foggy & you couldn't see the ball !! Thankfully I decided to see for myself, It is foggy but ONLY because there's a film over the CLEAR plastic so it doesn't get scratched or fingerprints on it !! DEFINITELY a GREAT BUY, it's easiest to start by peeling one of the corners first !!

It came in a box and needed put together. No big deal. The issues is the sides and top are cheap frosted plastic. FROSTED plastic for a display case. They are not even close to clear. They display nothing except frosted plastic. DO NOT BUY, if you are planning to see what you put in the box.
