Ich habe mich von den Bildern der "Vine"-Rezensionen verleiten lassen. Mag sein, dass jemand einen anständigen Scan hinbekommt. Eventuell ein Objekt mit etwa 5cmx5cmx5cm Größe, dass auf einem Drehteller platziert wird. Freihand habe ich keinen brauchbaren Scan bekommen, wie ich es erwartet hätte. Zumindest konnte ich die Oberfläche erkennen, die ich gescannt habe (halbes Objekt). Da der Scanner nur einen kleinen Bereich abdeckt war ich über die relativ schlechte Auflösung etwas überrascht. Ich habe versucht eine Computermaus zu scannen. Die Oberflächendetails waren zwar zu erkennen, aber nicht wirklich scharf und teilweise gab es Fehlpixel, die außerhalb der Oberfläche lagen, aber mit einem Strahl an der Oberfläche verbunden waren. Zudem bricht der Freihandscan oft ab. Sie müssen immer auf Ihre Hand und das Objekt achten und aber auch auf den Bildschirm, das geht schlecht und so sind dann auch die Ergebnisse.Wer experimentieren und damit spielen möchte, für den ist das sicher noch eine gute Sache. Bauen Sie sich einen Drehteller und ein Setup auf dem Schreitisch, mit entsprechender Ausleuchtung etc., tüfteln Sie, bis Sie irgendwann ihr bestes Setup gefunden haben und fertigen Sie dann fast vollständige Scans an.

Beim Scannen des Objekt habe ich mehr auf Automatik gehofft aber leider muss man vieles Manuell einstellen

Scanner sufficente a mio parere. La precisione degli oggetti scansionati è buona ed è quindi abbastanza rettilineo lavorarci sopra. Il problema è che il processo di aquisizione è estremamente laborioso. Lo scanning a mano libera è impossibile, bisogna per forza prendersi un tavolino rotante, ed in qualche modo mettere l'oggetto sopra impalato su uno stuzzicadenti (magari stampando un supporto ed incollandolo sopra il piatto per poi incollare con un po di colla a caldo il pezzo da scansionare sullo stuzzicadenti); Questo è l'unico modo che ho trovato per scansionare il pezzo. Durante lo scanning, nonostante lo spray per la scansione e tutte le accortezze prese ottengo sempre l'errore di perdita di tracking il che rende la scansione un milione di volte più difficile. Per riassumere: per questo prezzo non penso si possa avere di più. Se volete entrare nel mondo dello scanning mi sentirei di consigliare che la tecnologia maturi di più.

As there is only one option In Amazon and that is to return the item, I am unable to get any support. The link for the software installs ok and also on my phone so you can use picture mode. The phone software does nothing no connection does not talk with software or scanner. So I am at a loss as to weather I send it back or continue with no support. I have not yet managed to scan anything.

Scanning proved to be difficult. Do not expect an accurate model. Only useful as a guide. You will need to model the part yourself by the end of it using the scan as a reference

I've used a few different methods of 3D scanning, from using an iPhone with multiple images to a Kinect to some basic 3d scanners and the Seal Lite is hands down the best I've used so far, but in my opinion we're still a way away from having an everyday scanner that makes life easy.The device comes with a fairly meaty cable that has 2 end connections, one to the computer required for scanning and one to provide power to the unit. This cable, while excellent quality, is frustratingly short and means you have to have the item needing to be scanned right next to the computer doing the work. I've not tried an extension yet but I expect the cable would need to be quite hefty and expensive.You don't get any supporting hardware with the unit either so you are just left with the device itself which isn't particularly ergonomic. Good news is it does have a standard tripod mounting lug so I took it upon myself to 3D print a grip to allow for a more natural scanning position which helps a lot.The sold-separately grip would be ideal but it's prohibitively expensive for what is essentially a handheld battery. If the grip was cheaper it'd be a no brainer and sadly you can't hook up the device directly to the phone as it uses some sort of proprietary driver which no matter how hard I tried I could not get to work in Android (the cameras showed up but would not work).However, as far as scanning goes, this is by far the easiest and most accurate scanner I've used to date and can produce some very good results as long as you're happy to play around with the settings to get the best results. Shiny surfaces are a no-go and areas with high contrast confuse it, but this is true of most 3D scanners so not necessarily an issue with the device.I know for sure I've not gotten the best out of it yet and it has a lot more to offer, but I feel with a longer cable and a cheaper grip this could be significantly better still.

Software installiert und Scanner angeschlossen. Erfassen des Objektes nicht möglich da der Scanner es nicht in der Vorschau anzeigt. Absolute dunkelheit.Beim statren des scanvorgangs startet gar nichts.Bisherige 5 Sterne Rezesionen alle aus dem Vereinigten Königreich und vom Dezember 2023. Kann ich nicht glauben. Nur mal so als Hinweis.
