Two bottles each with a little brush of glossy varnish.I have used this several times but you do have to use a few coats.The varnish is very thin to use and dries with very little gloss.

Das Produkt wurde uns kostenfrei zum Test zur Verfügung gestellt. Der Preis zum Testzeitpunkt lag bei 12,99€. Man erhält zwei Flaschen mit jeweils 100ml Klarlack für lufthärtenden Ton. Im Inneren des Deckels ist ein Pinselapplikator angebracht, mit dem man die Glasur punktgenau aufbringen kann. Die Glasur ist farblos, und nach einer Trocknungszeit von 12-24h ergibt sich ein glänzendes Finish. Die Kinder basteln gerne mit Fimo (z.B. kleine Tiere oder Broschen), dafür ist der Lack gut geeignet. Leider kann man ihn nach dem Öffnen nicht lange stehen lassen, da sonst der Flascheninhalt schnell austrocknet. Man muss also darauf achten, dass die Flaschen nach Gebrauch sofort wieder fest verschlossen werden. Trotzdem halten sie dann nach dem ersten Lffnen nicht sehr lange, also lieber schnell verbrauchen.

eine ganz tolle idee: mit diesem lack kann ich nun meine getöpferten werke wasserdicht machen, doch nicht nur das: ich bin erstaunt, wie schön sie werden durch diesen gleichmäßigen glanz. also ein produkt, das sowohl praktisch ist wie auch ästhetisch wertvoll- macht alles edel und wertig!die anwendung ist einfach, leider ist die anleitung nur in englisch. hätte fast einen stern abgezogen deswegen! geschieht immer häufiger!!!

Im Rahmen des Amazon Vine Programms habe ich diese Glasur für Ton getestet und bin begeistert! Meine Fimo-Kreationen erstrahlen jetzt in vollem Glanz, und ich kann endlich auch Blumenübertöpfe selbst kreieren und diese wasserdicht lasieren. Der Klarlack ist nicht nur kratzfest, sondern macht alles noch schöner und widerstandsfähiger. Jetzt kann ich meine kleinen Kunstwerke vor Wind und Wetter schützen – ein echtes Must-Have für jeden Hobby-Töpfer und Bastler!

I am newly into air dry clay, and have been wondering how to seal and protect my pieces, after all, if it gets wet again, it will just be ruined. This clay glaze works well and it is easy to apply, my clay stand looks great and shine.

The varnish comes in a 100ml plastic bottle and there are two of those in a white light cardboard box. They're branded DecorRom and display key product features. The screw-on cap has a very long integrated plastic brush (that goes to the bottom of the bottle) for applying the varnish which emits a bit of a solvent smell. It's very liquid so I'm not surprised that the advice is to put two coats on. It looks white like milk but dries pretty much transparent. It was tested on a salt dough decoration and gave the surface a bit of a sheen when dry but nothing very glossy or thick. Afterwards when water was dropped on it, it just sat there and didn't get absorbed. The box says the product is BPA and VOC free, should be stored in a cool dry place and kept out of reach of children. Its shelf life is of 12months once opened so it's good that instead of one big bottle of 200ml you get two smaller ones. It lists components (2-Propenoic acid, 2-methyl-, methylester, polymer with ethenylbenzene and 2-propenoic acid, water, butyldiglycol, additives) and also displays the address of the EU representative.

Gibt noch nicht viel zu sagen. Hab die ersten Werke bepinselt und es hat gut funktioniert. Jetzt muss ich nur noch die Haltbarkeit draußen und drinnen testen
