These guards have support on both front and back of the wrist. This was important to me because many only have support on the palm and i have previously torn tendons from overextending the wrist backwards in falls, as well as multiple wrist breaks. I use these for ice skating. they are low profile and functional. they are also uncomfortable and annoying to put on. But i feel like they have provided support in the falls i have taken since using them.

I thought this was cute wrists support like medical grade. But when I got it it was clearly for skateboarding or sports. It’s sitting in the package in my closet

We bought these Moxi leopard guards as well as the "regular" Triple 8 and Killer Pads wrist guards, in black. (They're all made by the same company.) The stitching and materials were superior in the Moxi version (although it had slightly less palm coverage), and the plastic "stint" was noticeably thicker and more durable compared to the other two, which definitely makes it appear more protective to the wrist. The only curious design choice aspect is--why the white plastic? The contrast makes it "stick out/stand out" design-wise, and not in a good way. (White looks "dorky," says my daughter, compared to the black.) It looks cheaper and less streamlined than the black plastic, and it also easily shows scrapes and scratches, making it appear dirty once actually used, whereas the black shows none of that. The black plastic would've made it appear so sleek, smooth, uniform and flattering! Would love to see the black plastic as a design-change in the next version.Sizing wise, the Moxi XS leopard was too big for my pre-teen daughter--but the XS/Junior in the turquoise rainbow version fit her perfectly. (Appears to be a slightly different design.) I have very small 7" wrists but long fingers and wear a size S glove and per the measurements the XS should've fit me, but it was too small and tight. The Small fit me perfectly. I would say size up, for adults.
