Wie schon gesagt wurde, der Blaufilter verfälscht die Farben. Damit könnte ich ja noch leben, aber daß die Befestigungslöcher nicht dem Standard-16x2 LCD enstprechen und auch das Display selber ein Tick größer ist, geht ja gar nicht. Man kann das Display somit nicht einfach gegen das Standard-16x2 austauschen.

The only issue I have with this display is that they use a blue filter. The main disadvantage of using a color filter is that the background and text colors are not consistent. So depending on the color of the backlight led. Usually what happens is that the text inherits the color of the background led and the background is slightly the same color as the text but darker. In some cases the background is completely off compared to the color of the backlight led.For example:RGB=1,0,1 => led is pink, background is blue and the text is pinkRGB=0,0,1 => led is blue, background is blue and the text is practically invisibleRGB=1,1,0 => led is yellow, background is green and the text is yellowI would like to have the text and background to be more consistent. For example either the text is always black and the background is the same as the rgb backlight led value. Or the other way around the text has the same color as the rgb backlight led value and the background is dark or darker. This way the text and background are a bit more predictable. For the rest this display works fine. I would love to see a 16x4 version of this display.

This board worked perfectly with my Arduino Uno and Nano boards. Load the right library #include or similar and you are good to go. The display intensity can be dialed down to the point where night time vision is not affected.

The hardware works fine. The library for the product is very limited. You can send simple text to the display and that’s it. You can’t send any data types at all.

Ein I2C-LCD mit einer RGB-LED und entsprechendem Buffer zu kombinieren ist eine lustige Idee, aber doch nicht mehr als eine Spielerei. Prinzipbedingt ist das LCD in unterschiedlichen Lichtfarben unterschiedlich transmissiv. Im vorliegenden Fall sieht alles, was einen hohen Blauanteil beinhaltet, ziemlich seltsam aus. Für Bastelprojekte mit Schwerpunkt BLING ein nettes Gimmick, für den praktischen Alltagseinsatz nicht wirklich brauchbar.

Gutes Produkt.Neueinsteiger sollten unbedingt die in der Produktbeschreibung befindliche Dokumentation berücksichtigen.Die gänigen auf Youtube oder im Internet zu findenden Verfahren sind garnicht oder nur teilweise funktional.Ich habe das ganze mit dem Raspberry Pi Pico und micropython verwedet - nach Implemetierung und Sichtung des mitglieferten demo skript hat alles wie gewünscht funktioniert.I2C Adressen müssen nicht ausgelesen werden - bereits alle fest in den mitgelieferten Treibern implementiert.
