Awesome, high capacity battery.My only advice is to make sure you charge it with an actual NPF charger and don't use the built in USB charger as it only supports 5V/2A. Love the built in charger meter and USB input/outport ports - which doubles it as a powerbank for phones (etc). Comes in a nice waterproof plastic cases, which contains a small USB cable. From the testing I've done, it does everything that it's supposed to do and is comparable with other batteries of the same type - so no complaints. Recommended!

This HUAENG 10.8Ah battery is a direct replacement for the Sony NP-F980 or any of the battery packs with roughly that number (980) as they all have the same base so that they are all interchangeable. This particular one has a height of 70mm and a weight of 305 grammes which has a capacity of just under 80 watt hours (7.4 volts at 10,800 mAh).This battery has a port at one end for a USB C plug so that you can charge it using that or, if you already have a charger that the base plugs into, you can, of course, use that instead - here, you have an option. On the top there is a push button and four blue LEDs that indicate the level of charge so that you can see how much is has charged up or, if you are using it, you can see how much charge is left on it.Additionally, at the other end of the battery is a USB A socket that you can use to charge up something else such as your phone as this doubles up as a power bank. Both the USB C and the USB A sockets have rubber covers that seal well against dust and water.Finally, it comes in a small plastic box with a rubber seal all around it and there are also some inserts so that you can keep various data cards there as well, making this a useful little box to have if you are going to be using your video camera for an extended period of time.In all, this battery will fit anything that takes the NP-Fx batteries, whether that is a camera or lighting, video display or anything else. The water proof box with its ability to store safely your data cards makes it well suited to most uses.

This HUAENG branded NP-F battery has a huge 10800 mAh battery capacity, and a built-in battery tester to tell you what the current charge rate is. It charges up using usb-c, and sadly it only supports at 5v, which translates into an overnight recharge; I gave up watching it at about 3 hours. When presented with higher power it doesn’t charge at all.That said the upside to the huge charging times is the impressive battery life. You can use this with NP-F compatible devices; or use it as a usb-a power source. On my monitor it gave me over 5 hours of continuous use. On a LED panel light, I was able run for 86 minutes compared to 50 for a 4800 mAh battery I have, not quite a doubling of run time but still great for not needing to switch.It works with my lights and monitors just fine; it slotted in and released easily without sticking. The high-power capacity makes runtimes longer so you may not need to carry as many batteries (though know this one weighs 307g.) The slow charge rate makes it only useable once a day, if that is all you need this is 5* for you it’s easy to charge anywhere and the life is impressive.Faster charging batteries can be charged up on set to keep going and carrying less batteries even if you need to change them more often (they also weight less.) The slow charge makes this less desirable to me; I’m giving it a 4* for the capacity and ease of charging.

Been using this as a battery pack for an external light and a power bank to keep the phone topped up during supplementary videoing. Works a treat, feels like it holds charge incredibly well, and obviously there are many other use-cases this battery will cater for which I will continue to test in the coming months.Always happy to see usb-c charging, though it was quite slow - not necessarily a drawback as fast charging generally correlates to accelerated battery wear, but it is something to be aware of and plan your charging times appropriately.Carry case is handy and has extra slots for sd cards etc.I'd recommend this product.
