The quality was very good but the colour was much duller than expected I thought it looked quite bright but it wasn't

Ich habe den Sand für unser Bartagamenterrarium gekauft. Es sieht sehr schön aus und staubt nicht. Man kann ihn auch gut mit grabfestem Sand mischen.

Exactly what it says on the tin. Can only suggest you wait for the dust to settle when put into a viv. Otherwise a brilliant product.

my local pet store charges around $30 per bag for this stuff. it works really well in my gecko's tank, and having just found it on here, I will be buying it here from now on.to Jam:I have a gecko, and everything I have read, including the gecko care guide I got with him said calcium sand was fine, and that it was recommended as that they were likely to eat some of the ground cover anyway. this sand is fine rather than course, so it can pass through the lizards digestive system easily. lots of things can kill your lizard, the key, like in life, is to balance happiness with safety. I have put this calcium sand in with my gecko along with other ground covers such as coconut husk at the same time, and he prefers it to other medias. there is also a minute chance that crickets can survive getting eaten, and burrow out of the lizard, it's a small chance however, and I'm going to keep feeding him crickets because he likes them, and it makes him a happy gecko, which is more fun to watch. similarly, my gecko will keep getting calcium sand.

You know how when you go to the beach and you come home and there's sand EVERYWHERE? Now imagine the sand orange and you'll have some understanding of what my apartment has looked like for the past few months. Not only is there sand all over the place, there's dust from the sand as well. And that nice orange color? It stains! The inside of my toilet bowl is now orange, and, believe it or not, so are my Bearded Dragon's feet! I've washed them (twice) and guess what? They're STILL orange! Any ornament I put in my 55 gallon tank eventually turns orange-ish. I have switched to crushed English Walnut shells and I find them infinitely better. There's no dust and no mess. It looks more more like desert sand than the actual sand did! Horatio is none the wiser; he seems perfectly happy, and now maybe his orange feet will revert back to their natural color. Maybe. Anyway, in conclusion: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
