Got this for an upcoming installation. Packaging and adhesive seems great. What I've used before was thicker and heavier but this will definitely still get the job done, and it will fit under more tightly spaced panels.

These sound deadening mats are made to make installation easy. They are foil covered on one side with a honeycomb pattern. The honeycomb pattern kinda transfers to the rubber side and this should help limit air pockets from forming when applying the mats. The foil cover will make cutting these into shape easy. I have used other forms of sound deadening in the past and these do not have the smell of those other products. These mats work great.

I am big on car audio and in my work truck, I am doing a major front stage upgrade. I got this to line the doors and it works great. I used a roller to apply. It stuck well and went on easily. Cut easily as far as sound deadener goes and definitely helps the sound. More "solid", helps the midbass quite a bit and, as an added bonus, reduced a lot of road noise I didn't realize I was getting form the doors. No issues with heat so far. I am happy with this product and will likely use it on my 10k bass ride I am working on.

The best thing about this product versus other brands I have used is very little smell and the little smell it does have is not bad. It smells like a new car rather than an oil refinery. I also like the packaging with smaller pieces for easier handling. It is a little think but the positive in that is that it is not heavy. This works great to remove rattles in your car and I use a lot of it for car audio. I recommend this product!

I have installed several large car stereo projects and one of the first things I do is remove the trunk carpet, rear deck carpet, etc. and put down materials such as these. It does make a huge difference especially in cheaper built, smaller cars. When installing, I didn't have to deal with a strong outgassing smell that I've experienced before with other brands. It laid down smoothly (order one of the roller kits on Amazon), and I had no problems with adhesion. If working inside of a trunk area or enclosed area, please make sure you have a fan to ventilate and a pair of gloves. After all, it's still a chemical you are dealing with. Each sheet measures approximately 14.5 inches by 10 inches and was approximately .05 inches thick.
