I have a few of these fitted to my other compressors, absolutely brilliant things... a lot of people don't even know you need to drain the water from a compressors tank (or why it builds up in the first place)This one does the job, but when the tank pressure is above 80 PSI, when the solenoid is powered it makes a sound like a massive electrical arc (it isn't, it's the sound of the air vibrating as it passes the internal valve).i have found that if i close off the valve to just over half way, this stops the noise.
