I found this rope to be an interesting product. It was exactly as pictured and appears to be well made. I am planning to use this rope while working on my roof and painting my house.It was one of the few dynamic climbing ropes specifically made in the ROC that is marketed on Amazon. I purchased the 40m length for less than $80. For less than 60 cents/ft, this is a relatively cheap, dynamic climbing rope. I also use a BD Dynamic 9.9mm rope which costs about twice as much.The Vevor rope is bigger and heavier than the BD rope. It measured 10.6mm by my calipers and based on the specs on the webpage, weighs about 70gms/m; versus about 60gms/m for the BD rope. It has higher static and dynamic stretch numbers and a lower rope impact force. The rope is advertised as having CE, EN, and ANSI certifications but is not marked as such on the rope tag. Caveat emptor.The BD rope is a well-known, tried and true product and I have no doubts using it. This Vevor rope is well made, feels very robust and flexible, and is a great value, but I wonder about the certifications and its long term use.
