Good material and construction, but inconvenient to carry around without a carry case specially when phone holder mounted

I was pinched for time and bought this tripod on a whim. An in-person conference that I'd been running for 11 years decided that they wanted a virtual audience. Because this was not the norm, my first instinct was to come up with something that would not be too intrusive, while allowing the virtual audience to see the presenters.When this tripod arrived, I thought I bought the wrong item. Once I extended the segments, however, I was glad to have been proven wrong. Needless to say, it fit nicely in my luggage.Is it the strongest, sturdiest tripod? No. However, I'm not mounting my Nikon DSLR on it.... I found an ELP 4K USB/HDMI camera and that thing worked perfectly with this item. To put some weight at the foot of the tripod, I simply taped a USB battery pack (to power the ELP Camera) to the unit and everything stayed in place.

I had to see if this was gonna be as good as the Lumecube stand the idea was stolen from. It appears to be... It's not a strong stand but perfect for small lights, like Lumecube makes, or GoPros.

This tripod is great. I bought one for the office and had to get one for our home streaming studio. Sturdy and tall. Works with my phone and my webcam. I’ve used it several times now and no issues. The base is a little stiff to open but work perfectly.
