Beim Heimwerken kommt man oft an den Punkt, dass man in einer versteckten Ecke etwas nachschauen. Da hilft eine Inspektionskamera und öffnet den Blick auf Sachen, die man mit einem Spiegel nie erreichen würde. So habe ich mir diese Endoskopkamera mit Display bestellt um auch an unzugänglichen Stellen den Überblick zu erhalten.Geliefert wird die Endoskopkamera in einem kleinen schicken Koffer zusammen mit einem USB-Ladekabel und ein wenig Zubehör. Im Zubehör befinden sich ein Haken oder auch ein Magnet, die man auf die Kamera schrauben kann um so einfach z.B. ein Kabel zu ziehen oder die Wand eines Rohres anzuschauen. Leider habe ich es nicht geschafft das Zubehör korrekt zu befestigen. Da fehlt das passende Gewinde an der Kamera.Eine kurze Anleitung erklärt wie man die notwendige App aus dem Store lädt und eine Verbindung zur Kamera herstellt. Zur Verbindung baut die Kamera ein WLAN auf, an dem sich das Smartphone verbinden kann. Da man aber nur eine WLAN-Verbindung gleichzeitig nutzen kann sollte man zu diesem Zeitpunkt schon die App geladen haben. Ist das WLAN aufgebaut, so erkennt die App gleich die Kamera und stellt das Bild dar. In der App kann man die Einstellungen der Kamera machen und z.B. die Auflösung wechseln oder ein Bild oder Video aufnehmen.Alle Einstellungen kann man auch direkt am Display der Kamera machen. Hier kann man auf der größeren Anzeige auch besser arbeiten als mit dem Smartphone in der Hand. Das Display liegt gut in der Hand und die Tasten sind gut mit der rechten Hand zu erreichen. Gespeichert werden kann auf der 32 GB Speicherkarte die gleich dabei liegt.So bekommt man für kleines Geld eine für den Heimwerker gute Inspektionskamera. Das Bild ist gut und die in der Kamera verbauten LEDs leuchten den Bereich direkt vor der Kamera ausreichend aus. Das Kabel wirkt auf den ersten Blick zwar recht starr. Dies erweist sich aber in der Praxis als sehr hilfreich, da man so recht gut die Kamera führen kann. Das Kabel kann man nach seinen Anforderungen biegen und kommt dann auch an die letzte Stelle.Für mich eine klare Empfehlung für den versierten Heimwerker.

Die Teslong-Endoskopkamera wird in einem handlichen Hartschalenkoffer geliefert. Das Bedienteil (Display) und die 5m (!) lange Sonde mit den drei Kameras ist sauber aufgerollt und gut gepolstert darin aufgeräumt. Als zusätzliches Zubehör ist ein Haken und ein Magnet zum Anstecken dabei, mit denen man das Endoskop zur Bergungshilfe von kleinen Gegenständen an schwer zugänglichen Stellen, aufrüsten kann.Die flexible Sonde und der Bildschirm hinterlassen einen robusten und wertigen Eindruck. Der große und wertige 7“-Bildschirm (IPS!) liefert klares und scharfes Bild. Mithilfe eines Klappfußes kann die Einheit aufgestellt und somit der Betrachtungswinkel angepasst werden, wobei das IPS-Display natürlich auch so gut zu betrachten ist, sofern sich nichts spiegelt (…). Die Bedienung ist intuitiv möglich, wobei man die Logik zum Umschalten der Kameras (Lang) und Licht (kurz Drücken) nach meinem Geschmack umgekehrt implementiert mehr Sinn ergeben hätte, aber das hängt natürlich auch vom aktuellen Anwendungsszenario ab (..)Der Schärfentiefenbereich der Seitenkameras liegt recht dicht an der Optik, der der "Hauptkamera" an der Spitze etwas weiter weg. Objekte im richtigen Abstand von der Linse werden wirklich knackscharf abgebildet. Alle Kameras haben eine Beleuchtung, die in drei Stufen ausreichend angepasst werden kann.Angenehm auch die Appanbindung, die ein Livebild von der Hauptkamera verzögerungsfrei auf das Handy Display ermöglicht. Die App arbeitet auch mit größeren Displays (z.B. Galaxy Fold) zusammen, sodass man bei Bedarf einen entkoppelten Bildschirm hat, was sich bei mir schon einige Male als hilfreich erwiesen hat.Fazit: Tolles Endoskop mit sehr gutem Bild auf allen seinen Linsen, gute Aufbewahrung, stabiles Gehäuse mit guter Mechanik und sehr großer Reichweite dank der 5m langen Sonde. Sehr empfehlenswert.

This was genuinely bought by myself & this review isn't remotely sponsored.What is truly great first:This has proven itself to be a god-send when I was pulling 20m ethernet cables from the ground floor of a property to the loft & then from loft back down to the ground floor (other side of the property) - behind all the walls. I used it in many ways; e.g. I created very small inspection panels to allow the camera to survey where I was to drag / push cables, ID obstacles like electrical or water related cables / pipes. I would drill a small hole then poke the camera through to ensure the inspection hatch would be well located etc.Next: it has the Wi-Fi feature which allowed me to line up the camera to where I expected a cable or push rod (with I used to fish cables around...) to appear - then leave the camera in situ Athen go to the loft / another floor and be able to remotely see the what the camera could see so I could direct the direction of the cable. It was truly brilliant for this. If I were you - I would NOT buy one without this feature - even if your first job for it won't use that feature. Its an excellent feature - it really is.Next: The length of the probe was fairly important - I needed a long one so I could try to traverse the direction of one of the rods to fish cables through the wall & where they went or where they'd snagged up. Again, very useful.Next: The battery longevity per charge was also very good - I hadn't actually prioritised this when buying but in fact, I quickly realised that it was important - as some jobs take much longer than you anticipate. Fortunately, the battery in this was excellent - I think its battery eventually started to deplete when it was at 5 hours - which is great.Next: A important feature for me was screen size. I initially bought a 4.5" model & a 6" model & for other reasons returned both - but I found the 4.5" screen just too small. The 6" was acetate / good. This NTS700 is 7" & is excellent & IMO, I wouldn't want any smaller - it's just right. The quality of the screen is very good by the way - no issues with it what so ever.Next: It has 3 cameras, forward facing and one on either side (each offer different optical capabilities / fixed magnification).Next: You can have split screen with 2 of the 3 cameras on screen at once & have them as follows: Just A, or B, or C - or then: A&B then A&C.Next: Each camera is illuminated & the brightness of the LED is excellent for all 3 cameras.Next: The build quality is excellent - I was biting my lip as was pushing the camera against some parts of the building behind the walls & feeling the walls rough surface against the end of the probe, worrying I was damaging it - but it's surprising resilient & hasn't sustained any damage.The carry case is excellent & well deserved for a camera of this standard.Whats not so good: Use of the full length of the probe, long as it is, does start to inhibit its use (diminishing return?) as unless you're going down a very long, unobstructed, straight passage with it, one cannot aim the direction of the camera beyond a certain depth into wherever you're pushing the probe - but that's not a failure or fault - its just the nature of the technology employed.Next: I noticed sometimes, that when cycling through to the camera(s) I wanted - that very occasionally it would state on-screen that it was showing say, A&C but in fact, it was only showing one view on screen - this wasn't really an issue, it just meant cycling through to the same view again.Next: Another minor thing; changing the camera when WiFi is on is not possible. You have to turn WiFi off (so your phone drops off the WiFI from the camera), to allow the change of view/camera, then you have to re-enabke WiFi from the NTS700 & re-join its' broadcasted WiFI on the phone again, then go back to the app, set back to landscape (it always defaults to portrait which is annoying) & you can then continue - that's a pain but not the end of the world.Nice to haves: There were instances where I would have liked to have cameras B&C on screen (so just the 2 side cameras on screen at the same time) - but this isn't possible / not an option. Feels like this could be accommodated with a firmware update??Next: Articulating probe would have made life sooo much easy - but those inspection camera probe lengths would have been just too short in some instances. I have asked Teslong if their fully articulating probe (which comes with the NTS500) is compatible - but as yet I don't know. I hope it is as I could definitely use that feature even with a shorter probe length.I could talk a lot more about this device but I won't. Once you've used one and it's really helped, you'll wonder how you did without one. There are so many uses for which it can be tasked too!
