I bought these refills because I like the product and how it helps let me know when floor plants need water, however, the refills I received are defective. I notice after watering The indicator stayed white so I put it in a tall glass of water and left it in there for a 1/2 hour and it is saturated from top to bottom and still white.

I just had to replace my first Sustee Aqua Meter insert and it took less than 30 seconds. Remove clear top, remove old core, insert new core, replace top, and ready to use again. I am very please with these water meters. They work fantastic.

My fiscus was dropping leaves like crazy, either too much or too little water. Since using the Sustee sticks all my plants are doing much better. My monstera (swiss cheese) has now reached the ceiling and my fiscus coloration is much improved. I will continue to use them.

I live in Phoenix, AZ and I use these moisture meters in potted succulents outdoors, specifically "Elephant's Food." Phoenix gets very hot in the summer, occasionally up to 120.˚ These plants require a very porous soil and should never be over or underwatered. The moisture meters make it easy. As soon as the meters turn white, I know it's time to give them a drenching. Using this method they grow wonderfully!

I like these when they work. There were two of the four that just turned green immediately and didn't work at all. That makes those that work very expensive!
