Die Rute an sich hat eine recht gute Wurfeigenschaft und Aktion, komme damit echt weit raus und hab auch schon einige Fische damit gefangen, wie diesen einen schönen Hecht. Allerdings ist beim Drill die Halterung der Rolle aufgebrochen und musste mit Panzertape repariert werden, was natürlich keine 100% ist. Für Anfänger die gerne an einem Forellenteich üben möchten denke ich perfekt.

Received my rod and reel today , opened the box and to my disappointment the reel is snapped. Unfortunately there is no where to directly contact your self's only the option to return the item.

Unfortunately this rod broke, snapped in half on its very first cast. I was very disappointed but refund process was quick and easy.

This is a colourful 2.1m (6ft 10 inch) spinning rod. It is some sort of carbon fibre / fibre glass material with all metal fixings and a tough EVA 2-part grip. It separates into 2 parts for transport and storage. It comes as a set with a metal 3000 reel. There is no line included which is fine as no line is advertised.I think if you stick to the lure weights i.e., nothing bigger than 21grams (0.74ounce) than this rod and reel combo should be fine. The description in the listing indicates up to 40g but printed on the rod itself is 7 - 21g. Also, if you get snagged (Caught up) treat it with respect and know when to cut the line. Like any rod, if you push it beyond its design parameters then it will probably break. This is designed for light weight lure fishing, that could be in the sea or in a lake or river depending what you are after catching. Whatever it is though, If you catch a big one, then you'll have to play it in patiently.I threw out a light lure on this multiple times on a windy day at the beach without any problems. It was probably a bit too windy so I couldn't get any distance and stopped spinning but that is kid of the point, this kind of fishing needs to be done in the correct conditions. There is no point in over loading the rod just because the wind is too strong.I like this little set and see no reason why it shouldn’t last a good few trips out if treated properly and rinsed off after sea fishing etc. Lubricating the reel with light machine oil is always a good idea.My only issue with this is that it appears to be over priced in my opinion. It is not a high-end brand that I am aware of and such I am not convinced it deservedly commands such elevated prices. I am more than happy to be proved wrong though
